"O, beware, my lord of jealousy;
It is the green-ey'd monster which doth mock
The meat it feeds on."

or

"This is the excellent foppery of the world, that when we are sick in fortune (often the surfeits of our own behaviour) we make guilty of our disasters the sun, the moon, and stars: as if we were villains on necessity; fools by heavenly compulsion; knaves, thieves, and treacherous by spherical predominance; drunkards, liars, and adulterers by an enforced obedience of planetary influence; and all that we are evil in, by a divine thrusting on. An admirable evasion of whoremaster man, to lay his goatish disposition on the charge of a star!"

I just can not read Bill's work - I do not understand it and I am lost every time I get anyplace near to his stuff.

I respect those that do get it - but for me it is OHGODPLEASESTOP!!!!

Fu heralds jealousy nay prostrates it , then I shall enthuse the bard. I must but follow him to 'serve' my turn upon him. For tis fate :rose:

As long as we have a circle stage, she can make as many stage lefts as she likes.

Fate desires no such certainty, the stage tis not an empire .

So be my destination a kingdom or a whore , with stage left thou is welcome also to explore :rose:

*sniggers* Oh speak again bright angel rebecca.....

But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? Me thinketh there is a stage right afterall..... :confused:

"To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd."

Nahhh... I'm gonna stick around and make the world as miserable as it's tried to make me!

: exeunt all, stage right :

LOL Well I wanna exit stage up. :D
Ahh then carry thee well to see the moon so close Miss Grace and speak to us of beams more ornate than thou doest find near left nor right.

Slow down would you I am making this up as fast as I can and Fu still hasn't bitten me yet .

Shakespeare is like meditation or yoga to me... I can't seem to calm my mind enough to meditate, yoga stresses me out, Shakespeare hurts my brain.

I can enjoy Shakespeare in the flesh- a well done stage production is a joy to me- but *reading* Shakespeare makes my head hurt every. damned. time.

Actually, same here CutieMouse. With me, I find it difficult to read....I end up reading and breaking down the sentences lol, over and over. But I struggle on I guess because personally its a challenge and I just love it :)

Did I mention that my daughter's favorite book at age 8 was a children's book of Shakespeare? My now 10 year old child can understand Shakespeare in the written form better than I do.

Sigh.

We have cheese !

I love a vague challenge and this is too much fun to even consider plagiarising.

Yeah, me too. The reason for that is that Shakespeare is a play - it's meant to be watched, not ridden.

my mind stopped at OHGODPLEASESTOP

i started thinking about all these lovely tortures, with whips, and rope, and begging, just to open the thread and find shakespeare :(
