Last night's show once again showed the ass of one of the male detectives (Rick Schroder). Together with David Caruso, Dennis Franz and Jimmy Smits we have been subjected to four male butts but not one female butt. I guess only women write to the show so we probably won't ever get to see Kim Delaney's butt.

Anyway, did you think the show was a little less edgy since David Milch is no longer doing the scripts? I did.

The first two were David Caruso's wife and the blonde PAA before Gay John (Donna Abondando). And I certainly didn't need to see Dennis Franz' naked ass either! Come on, the man has the body of a jar of mayonaisse...with the lid off!

Amy Brenneman and Debrah Farentino also had butt-shots in the first season. That's when the 'partial nudity' was one of the controversial selling points. Once the ratings picked up, they cut back on the stunt-sex.

I can vaguely remember Sherry Stringfield's character but I don't remember Debrah Farentino at all. What character was she?

She was a guest star in a couple of episodes in the first season.
She played a woman married to an older man who was a friend of John Kelly's. Kelly was hired as her bodyguard, and he got her out of a sticky situation.

Later in the season, her husband died and she went off dor a while. She came back and she and Kelly hit the sheets.
