My fellow Eu immigrants told me that their kids aced the A+es and were considered to be highly advanced (2 grades higher as skill level) in their first 2 years after they emigrated.
And those kids were considered to be just average in their native countries.

The other part of the coin being that: While the Eu (continental) school system is really good when it comes to such subjects,
- many fall on their face when it comes to bridging the gap between the world of abstract ideas, and the 'how do we put those in practice?'
