The story that a Texas woman died because her doctors wouldn't perform an abortion IS A LIE.

There have been approximately a dozen women in Texas who have died from complications arising from MISCARRIAGE, but that's not a denial of an abortion.

• Porsha Ngumezi, who bled to death during a miscarriage after her doctor opted against performing a D&C procedure, fearing the procedure would be seen as an illegal abortion.
• Nevaeh Crain, an 18-year-old who died after visiting three different emergency rooms over 20 hours and being repeatedly discharged due to the same fear of providing care that could be interpreted as an abortion under the law.
• Amanda Zurawski, who developed life-threatening sepsis and nearly died because doctors waited until she was "sick enough" to perform an abortion after her water broke at 18 weeks, making the pregnancy non-viable.
