I never get sick. This morning I woke up at 4:00 with a nasty sore throat and a temp around 325 f. according to the oven thermometer.

I'm going to require round-the-clock medical attention from a private duty nurse before my condition takes a turn for the worse.

Sorry Miles my company does not pay mileage so any nursing will be long distance. :D
Hello? Long distance Nursing Corps? Debbiexxx here. "Ahem. Yes? ok. Take two aspirin and a garlic tablet and call me in the morning. ":) Oh and stop sticking your head in the oven too.:p

Turn off the oven, and check the thermometer in the morning. Suck on a hard candy for the sore throat. If it persists, take the thermometer out of the hot food/water/substance it is in, and wait for it to cool.

private duty? ohhhhh, its gonna cost ya! but, I'm sure we can work out some sort of payment ;)

Isn't anyone going to ask him which body orifice he put that thermometer in to get a reading like that???

Miles, You turkey....

You're overdone. Youwere supposed to get out of the oven when your tmep reached 165F

Well Miles,

I am a registered nurse, but some how i think my credentials may be a bit lacking for the type of care you are gonna require!

:D

Drink lotsa liquids, vitamin C and Sudafed for the sniffles 60mg every 4-6 hours as needed. Tylenol for the aches or Motrin and guifennisen/dextromethorphan for the cough(robitussin DM)

If your not better in a few see your doc. the strain that is going around right now is a nasty one lasting 7-14 days

PS: I always found that keeping your monkey drained with the right person helps alleviate the misery ;)

good luck

I rarely get sick.. Its a great thing

Sep when Ive had to work a ton without days off.. Than sometimes im just tempted to sit outside in the cold and let the hose run all over me just so I can get sick for once and have an excuse to miss work!
