I've been to several and enjoy going every summer. No, there isn't rampant sex going on at the vast majority. That's just a fantasy. Most are affiliated with the AANR and it has strict rules against sexual conduct. There are swinger-types of nudist resorts too, but those are in the minority and I haven't been to them.
I suggest everyone who enjoys going nude at home try a nudist resort to see if it's for them. After the initial shock or embarrassment that some may experience, I think it will be seen for what the sense of liberation and fun that it is. No sex going on, just plenty of nice nude folks swimming, hiking, playing volleyball, etc.

Wow, for a board that supposedly boast such "enligtened" members, it looks like the boat has been missed on this subject. I live just north of a nudist resort (heree in kansas).
Nudist resorts are billed as FAMILY RESORTS. They are places where parents bring their kids. There is NO open sex on the grounds. In fact if a guy gets an erection it is understood he will wrap his lower half with a towel and wait untill it goes away. As one member told me if there is gonna be any sex among the members it is done at private gatherings away from the grounds.
One thing most of you will like is the fact the shower facilities are all coed so there are no secrets. Nudist resorts do attract their fair share of swingers and such but they know to behave themselves. To keep the sexual tension to a minimum most resorts will NOT allow unescorted men in but will allow unescorted women on the premises.
Now granted there are some incest families that do attend but like I said before, any pairing up between like minded groups is done away from the grounds.
Also their usually aren't any restroom facilities out in the open. If a male or female has to "go" they just do it right there. Nothing is ever thought of it! I like that because I think it's sexy to watch a woman urinate.
