Anyone ever been to one? Did you join in the attire of the day? How did ya feel? What did ya look at? Did you get aroused at all? How long did you stay? Any sunburns on "tender" spots?

I've never been to one, but I can envision a day (when my child is elsewhere, of course) when I'll enjoy a nude beach. It wouldn't be a sex thing at all. I'd just enjoy being naked in the sun and playing in the water.

A nudist colony, on the other hand, holds no interest for me at all. And I'm not sure why that is.

Black's Beach, La Jolla Calif...

It was great! Used to go down there with my ex-wife, lay on my stomach until I got used to the nude females around me.
If you wear any clothing, YOU are the one that feels out of place. It was great flip-flopping into the ocean, swimming among the glistening boobies, and watching the skin show.
No real burns to report, we lubed each other up before we got there.

Pirate's Cove, San Luis Obispo Calif:
A smaller, but more densely packed beach with alot of coeds from Cal Poly Tech. Used to go down there with my female cousins, and their friends. Bring wine!

Yes, I've been to Black's Beach too and you do feel out of place if you wear clothes...you get stared at. lol. I plan on going back once the weather warms up a bit. You can usually find me taking pictures north of there at Torrey Pines State Beach...around Flat Rock.

We went to a nude resort for the weekend summer before last. We loved it!! Didn't get the chance to go back last summer, but this summer we definitely will.

Used lots of sunscreen so nothing tender got burned. You carry a towel with you, and I guess if mr. happy gets perky, you just hold the towel in front of you.

It was a very liberating experience, and a lot of fun. Not a swinger resort, mind you, but a very nice place with a hot tub and beach, and social gatherings.

My son and I used to regularly go to a nudists colony in the Hill Country. It is sexual but not erotic. (Probably not unlike the way that a gyn visit is sexual, but not erotic.)

Open sexual display was discouraged and grounds for expulsion from the grounds. To live there, you had to make all kinds of agreements and they owned the land, not you. (Most people lived in trailers or kept a trailer for weekend visits.)

I did burn the hell out of my tits the first time. The pool is awesome-the deep end is bowl shaped instead of sloping down so kids can still play at the "deep end". The grounds are beautiful and everytime we went there, life was good.

A friend died out there though and now any time I drive by, I just think of him so it is unlike I will be going back for a long time. The sadness just stays with me. (It was very natural causes.)

Don't go to any nudist place expecting to get your jollies. I don't know about you, but 80 year old women sitting around playing cards don't get me off.

I agree. There is nothing like the feeling of water moving over my completely naked body.

I used to go to nude beaches, swimming holes, etc. a lot with my family when I was growing up. Caught a glimpse of my first erection at one of them. Damn near scared the daylights out of me.

The French islands in the Carribean are topless and often one end of the beach is nude. My favorites: Baie Rouge on St. Martin, a small, secluded and gorgeous beach. Orient Beach on St. Martin can also be good, depending on the crowd. It's mostly nude, but every now and then a contigent of cruise ship passengers trudge through (clothed) to get an eyeful.

Great memories

...of being single and going to Haulover Beach near Miami. Public beach that allows nudity. And while it may be a family place, the sights could be breathtaking.

Never been.

Been to a clothing optional hot springs - Cougar Hot Springs outside Eugene - but kept my trunks on. I don't mind looking at beautiful women who are nude, but I don't particularly care to show off my nude bod, not even back then when I was in shape.
