Nudism and sexuality?

I read, in passing, a reference to nudism at home which made me think. The thought of nudism has always aroused me but I'd never given it a lot of thought. It hadn't really occured to me that I could enjoy it in the privacy of my own home (I live alone) and so I decided I'd experiment.

After my shower today I just simply didn't get dressed. So far, I am really enjoying the freedom of not wearing clothes and I feel emotionally and spiritually recharged. I can't wait to come home from work tomorrow and disrobe!

The thing is, I am also getting incredibly turned on. Real nudists (which I'm not) seem to claim that nudism or naturalism is not sexual. I am having difficulty with that concept and I know I am going to have to play with myself at some point this afternoon.

I'd genuinely be interested in your views. Expecially if there are any nudists on this forum.

I went to a nudist "resort" once...it was decidedly non-sexual.

I always, when the weather permits, water the flowers early in the morning in the nude. Not sexy, but it's a nice feeling.

My wife and I are not official "nudists" but the vast majority of the time around the house we don't wear any clothes. It just seem more free and comfortable, especially since society demands people in public to wear clothes. As far as the sexual component, new things are very likely to turn you on sexually as part of the thrill of doing something daring and novel. After a while, you just get used to it.

It does, however, make sex more accessible. A lot of times we'll just be hanging out on the couch watch South Park or something, not thinking about sex at all and she'll start sucking my cock or something. It gets sexual pretty quickly.

Real life nudism is actually not sexual, because people who do it, consider it as a normal state. On the other hand, non-nudists are turned on by nudism, because it is a "deviation" from their normality.

My opinion about "real life" or "official" nudism is similar to "real life" or "official" BDSM. Why make a bunch of formal rules for something done for fun and self-expression? You don't need a codified philosophy and all sorts of titles to experience life.

That makes sense to me. x

I agree. x

I have tried it myslef and found it very exciting. I also couldn't help but get turned on.
I don't know why but it seems to take alot of courage to walk around naked, even in your own home.

I was originally doing some paperwork in my bedroom. I have now come in to the sitting room, however I have big wide windows so I have closed the drapes and have soft lighting and candles on. It's not really a surprise that I feel so aroused.

The really interesting time will be after my orgasm, then I'll be able to assess how beneficial being naked is to me. At the moment, it is difficult to see past the erotic energy that I am so concious of. However, I am in no real hurry to play with myself, I am enjoying the sensations of arousal and nudity.

God I am so turned on!

Beach nudist

I've been a beach nudist for almost 20 years. I have nothing against resorts, but just love the beach.

The idea that nudist run around having sex all the time is funny to me. Most nudist I've met are 'nice, real, normal, people.' Yes, they are sexual, but nudism becomes the 'norm.' You get used to seeing people naked. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing a naked woman and enjoy the beauty of her body, but that doesn't mean I want to have sex with everyone I meet.

You're most powerful sex organ is your mind. Partial nudity creates mystery. You start wondering what's under there, Mmmm, how does it look, feel, etc.

Total nudity takes away some of that mystery. You still get turned on by a person, but I find it's more the personality, the touch and not as much the mystery of 'what are those clothes covering.'

And, I agree, that there is a great deal of freedom in nudity. I love swimming nude and feel awkward when I have to wear a swimsuit.

One last comment, nudity leads to a greater appreciation of all body types. Not just the beautiful people but the average too. If you take the time to get to know them, you come to see them more as unique and beautiful individuals.

Hope this helps. I encourage you to try it out, but don't go looking for an orgy.

I suppose you might call me a fair weather nudist in the summer. I don't get dressed during much of spring and summer. I don't like heat, is all. You'll get used to just not having any clothes. (I have a mild feeling of annoyance if I have to get dressed to go do things. I work at home.) But please enjoy the newness of this experience. It's a tactile world we live in. Something brushing against your skin in an erogenous area might encourage you to stop work and give yourself an orgasm, just like a cup of java or coke mid-day. Enjoy.

I know how you feel. I too love to be naked when ever I can. It is such a liberating feeling but also real heighten my sexual needs as well ;)

I completely agree. Those days when I can just disrobe and go about my apartment completely naked, I feel free. It is arousing! I love to sleep in the nude too. I don't jnow why, but I feel turned on by the fact that I can simply be naked. I feel as though I am showing off my sexual self, even if in the privacy of my own home. Here's to us closet nudists!

Nude Recreation

Not every nudist resort is asexual. There are at least two in Texas that advertise in swingers' publications as 'lifestyle-friendly' and adults-only. If the club says "NASCA' it's fun-n-games. 'AANR' means hands off, a family resort.

I love being nude, but i'm definitely not considered a nudist. I'm more like the original poster where I like doing it by myself and it turns me on. I always end up stroking my cock when I get nude.

I'm the opposite of the OP, I'm used to being naked and it doesn't do it for me anymore... :(

I think you hit the nail on the head. Last summer the wife and I and three other couples stayed at guest house with a "clothing optional" pool and deck. We are not naturists, but we do enjoy nudity. We spent all day in the pool nude with the three other couples. There were other guests in the pool, also. The sexual atmosphere was highly charged, to say the least. Around midnight the last of the other guests finally disappeared. That was the signal we were waiting for. The eight of us were fucking like animals the minute the gate closed and we were all alone. Spending all day nude got us all charged and ready to fuck.
