Okay, so, like I gave it a full day, watching to see if anyone would offer a thread on this issue.

Even the Liberal community is in uproar over the firing of Liberal Juan Williams, after 10 years, under contract, was fired, over the telephone the day after Left Wing billionaire, George Soros donated $1.8 million to NPR.

Taxpayer funded to the tune of $430 million dollars from the US Government, NPR officals whined that it was 'unfortunate' that this event happened during their 'begging for money' week. Republican and Democrat alike are calling for the government funding to be suspended.

Juan Williams' politically correct crime, was to say on Fox, that he 'felt nervous boarding an aircraft with Muslims in religous garb' ( I paraphrase).

Just like the ahem, Ladies, of The View, walking out on a Conservative commentator, the Left abrogates the entire concept of free speech, and does so again on Public Broadcasting.

The official went so farr, as so many here do, as to call for a psychiatric observation of Williams....if you dare disagree with the Liberal Progressives, here, there and everywhere, then you are a 'wacko', spreading 'disinformation' and you should be stopped, fired or jailed!

It was not by coincidence that the Left on this forum tried to ban Political discussions and then began a Pornograpic spamming of any and all political threads. That is how the Left, all across the country, operate: they cannot defend their basic premises, so they try to limit and control free speech and then dig dirt and throw mud in childish antics if anyone dares oppose them.

Chuckles...that is because you twits believe what Mabeuse stated, 'sex is emotional, it is not intellectual...

I will do another thread soon on the liberal progressive assault on rather attractive female conservatives running for office...so much for NOW, and all the other previous feminazi's....seems they are only for Liberal women.

and...."I am not a witch!"

Not reported is the threat NPR made to Mara Liiasson. Management told her to take 30 days off to think about her appearances on FOX.

It is so blatant, MSNBC with Chris Matthews, Ed somebody, the Lesbian and the former sports announcer and CNN with Spitzer & Anderson Cooper, prime time full time left wing shills....and Fox, with its' 'Fair and Balanced", giving air time to Williams and a host of lefties...I thought the news was slanted 30 years ago when I was actively complaining to the networks....

Whether NPR realizes it or not, their little PC outburst in firing Juan and threatening Mara has drawn a lot of unwanted attention to their overpowering leftist bias in this time of renewed conservatisim and concern how tax dollars are squandered. Their acceptance of $1.8 mill from George Soros, the leftist, US hating, currency manipulating, progressive billionare doesn't help either.

The ideas' already being floated to cut off their taxpayer funding and it's high time too. If NPR does have to compete in the open market, then it's a certainty they'll go the way of Air America (which Soros also supported for a while).

Can Public Television be far behind? Stay tuned. ;)

Theyre all of them AIR AMERICA wannabees.

I'm sure this will lead to more money, air time, and fame for Juan that he'd ever have known at NPR.

By the way, why is a black dude named "Juan"?

Maybe the question you should ask is, "Why is a black dude named 'Williams'?"

For starters, Juan Williams will host the "O'Reilly Factor" on Fox today at 8pm Eastern time, for those who are not familiar with him.

Why his name is what it is...perhaps a pseudosym, I used one on radio for many years.

It would appear that Juan has been offered a contract with Fox for three years worth $2 million.

If you could write some truths then perhaps some on the left would engage you in a meaningful discourse, but then, you'd have to offer something other than your fanciful, imaginative meanderings about politics, economics, and the truth....best get back on yer meds, dude.....

JimmyBobJo boy, try to speak some truth to this....not that the truth ever mattered to you or Mon Ami, spewing bullshit is still bullshit............you both are full of it........great stuff if ya never brushed yer teeth..........

About the TRUTH:

BTW - Mon Ami, speaking the truth....you are unaware or in a state of dementia when you describe the "Juan Williams" character to be the 'ONLY' black news analyst on NPR.....not that you'd ever know that to be a fact or understand what it means..................nor would you or Juan or Bill-O-The Clown, yore daddy, would care about truth or accuracy, it never mattered when you were reading the news nor does it matter now....Except to true journalists employed at NPR......you wouldn't understand - it's a journalist thing.............

Latest breaking news stories report that Juan Williams was misquoted in the original stories. What he really said was:

"I am sick and tired of all these mother fucking Muslims on this mother fucking plane!!!!"

I generally like to stay out of these kinds of discussions, mostly because I know I'm not going to convince anyone that my opinion is right. However.

Juan Williams was a news analyst. That means he was expected to provide a relatively bias-free assessment of news stories by putting them into context. That does not mean he was expected to be a commentator, that is, someone who gives an opinion on how things should be going or what they would like to see happen.

The problem comes in when someone expected to provide a relatively neutral explanation of news makes statements that make obvious that they have certain prejudices that would subvert an unbiased opinion. Juan Williams made it clear that he can't help it but to stereotype Muslims as terrorists, and therefore can't be expected to provide a neutral analysis of the news. While firing him seems, to me, a non-journalist, to be a little on the extreme side, I can understand why an institution aiming for neutral, balanced reporting wouldn't want to get news analysis from someone so obviously biased.

Does this news inspire any sexy plot ideas?

Fired News Analyst lays Weather girl live on screen during the coffee break. "The camera should have switched off" says Techie.
Mrs Smidgeon, the representative of the 'Clean UP your Screen' campaign, said that it was a disgrace and anyway he was too aggressive.

Victoria's Secret have had an 'overwhelming demand for the design' of underwear, the Sales Director said.

Just an idea, you understand.

Huh?

Maybe the question you should ask is, "Why is a black dude named 'Williams'?"

Tell me oh one of great wisdom, "what would be a good name for a black dude?"
... and while we're at it; "do you recommend any good names for black dudettes?".

I'm so glad

... that you deigned to grace us with your presence ... I'm not exactly in awe but let me ask, "Have you ever boarded an aircraft with 5 men dressed in traditional Arabic garb and speaking Arabic". If that doesn't give you pause then I suggest a brain transplant because it gave at least 3 people on that aircraft out of Philly more than a pause. One was me and the other two were US Marshals.

Their speech was in Arabic and they assumed that no one in earshot understood them. They were wrong about this because despite my blue eyes I speak excellent Arabic. They were joking about the fear they felt they had engendered among the passengers.

Being both afraid and impolitic I made my way to their seating and greeted them in their own dialect and welcomed them to the brief flight to Dulles.
They understood and spoke English until we landed. No one was the wiser

Why did I do that? Simply, I was scared and I had to do it. It was impulsive.
Juan Williams instincts and bodily assumptions were the basic truth and he told us about them and he did this on FOX not on NPR so it isn't likely that his NPR audience knew anything about this matter.

Now it seems that Mara Liasson has been told, not asked, to reconsider her relationship with FOX and Vivian Schiller, President of NPR has placed both feet in her mouth, in the style of President Obama, all the while laughing off Williams.

Come on now, NPR doesn't have enough talent to do this alone. It had to have had assistance ... and it did ...

Lets speculate a bit, how about MEDIA MATTERS and their new benefactor, our very own favorite Hungarian-American currency speculator ... ta da ... let's hear it for ... Gearge Soros.

Whether or not 'Juan Williams' felt threatened or not, he was under contract to give 'fair and balanced' evaluations........he violated his contract and was fired: what is hard to understand about that?
Nothing except to neotards like: AmiCoot, JimmyBillyJomama, and the rest of the unwashed conservotards....................Sorry, Loring2 and T#1ZZZ (whatever that means) that I left y'all out....I know that you want to be included as neoturds like the rest..................................

read your own stuff before you hit the 'submit reply' button. Let's see now, according to you, whether or not Williams felt threatened is immaterial because he was under contract to NPR to provide 'fair and balanced' evaluations and was fired because he violated his contract.

Furthermore you contend that he was fired because he didn't give 'fair and balanced' evaluations.

Here all these years I though that 'Fair and Balanced' was a FOX watchword phrase. When did NPR begin using it too?

Get what I'm saying Dragie?

I'm suggesting that from now on you should have your "Nanny" or whoever assists you in your pottie training also help you when you post things on the Literotica and by all means when you go for a walk; Stay out of the traffic and be a good boy now

You certainly have quite an imagination. Stupid story, though - no sex at all. :(

I'm with ya. Obama can't stand Fox, and the other parts of the media are all left wing shills. Can ANYONE PROVE that they are NOT shills?
