Heard a cool discussion on NPR today: http://breakthroughs.kera.org/npr_p...hrodisiac-virus-makes-crickets-have-more-sex/ Apparently there's a virus that not only makes crickets hornier, but it sterilizes them, too. What if something like this spread to humans? People find themselves seized with uncontrollable desire, and can't get pregnant. Maybe there's some other side effects, too. Maybe the virus changes the body to increase some sizes to better its chances of spreading...

I also thought this was a perfect plot bunny. Then I thought, perhaps scientist should look more closely at the effects on libido of HIV or papilloma virus - might we alReady have viruses like this running around human populations

Personally, you had me at "sterilized sex frenzy" but when you added body parts getting inflated, the story, for me, went straight into the comedy crapper.
