Name: Ryan Ford
Age: 34
Height: 5'10"
Build: Athletic, but not muscular.
"Well, Mr. Ford, I honestly can't find anything wrong with you." Doctor Malcolm sighed in frustration.
He placed his patients file down on his desk and sat back in his chair, leveling his gaze at Ryan Ford who sat before him, hands clenched together in his lap. Malcolm was beginning to think Ford was simply a time waster, trying to get signed off work maybe. In the last six months the Doctor had run test after test on Ford trying to find out why the man supposedly suffered from chronic tiredness and lethargy. Right now Malcolm was ready to simply put it down to the man being lazy.
"But the latest tests must have shown you something surely?" Ford pressed desperately.
Ryan was at his wits end. He slept at night, but always woke feeling as, if not more, tired than when he had closed his eyes. Luckily he was single so no nagging from a girlfriend or wife to deal with, but it was getting to the point that simply dragging himself out of bed in the morning had become hard. He couldn't focus at work, his love life what there had been of it had vanished when this all started as he didn't have the desire, or energy, to pursue girls. He needed to be cured, and the Doctor wasn't helping.
"Oh, they showed that you seem to have a some trash DNA, but its nothing to worry about, we all do to a degree, and it certainly wouldn't explain your sudden ... problem." The Doctor shrugged helplessly. "I'm sorry Mr. Ford, I honestly don't know what else I can do for you."
Minutes later Ryan Ford left his Doctors office in a state of hopelessness. Standing in the late afternoon sun he gazed at the sky and wondered what to do next. Sighing, he knew he had to get back to work. He would try to concerntrate on his job for now and hope to God that something happened.
Driving back to his office he slipped into his cubicle, hoping his boss wouldn't notice him. His best friend caught his eye and nodded to him then went back to his own work. On top of his other problems Ryan's new boss, the Bitch as the office had begun calling her, seemed to have it in for him. he quickly got his head down and tried to catch up on the last hours emails and updates.
