Now that was a disturbing movie

Having read more than a couple accounts of the Donner Expedition I saw the movie "Donner Expedidition" on the rack in BlockBusters and had to watch it.

Sad to say the movie was nothing like the accounts I have read and was very badly done.

My recommendation? Don't bother watching it.

I checked on the IMDb website for ratings and reviews on 'The Donner Party'; they were all over the map. One reviewer referred to it as having 'major inaccuracies', another said it was 'painstakingly accurate'...go figure.

IMDb viewers gave it a score of 5 out of 10. I'll take your advice.
