Could someone please explain how I could get involved in online roleplaying...

I have never done it before but it sure sounds interesting....

If you find an ooc thread you can sign up and ask if you are welcome to join. Or start a new thread with the theme of your choice. One thing to remember if joining a thread is not to highjack it or decide what other writers characters do. This Forum is ORP forum. Mainly for roleplaying. If you are interrested in sexual roleplayin, visit the SRP. Sexual roleplaying forum.

yeah...it generally depends on what you're into, but it's mostly a creative outlet. It's the only way I can ever get my writing talents to work

Ok thanks... that is helpful... I like to write and have a vivid imagination!

Yep, learning by doing :)

My biggest problem is that english is my second language. But i struggle with it because i love roleplay. Both sexual and non sexual.

There are other ways to join a thread as well. If you can't find the OOC, or casting call thread try PMing the Creator of the thread. I personally recommend joining a few threads and playing in them before making a thread. When you make a thread people you have written with in the past will almost always look at your idea. I also found I could write much better intros for a story after about a month, looking back it is obvious to me why no one joined my first few threads. Along those lines if the thread idea doesn't get off the ground right away try rewriting in a month or two and it might work better.

Razor, I fully agreed my writing is at its best here on lit.

Thanks for the good advice... that makes sense.

I have read some of the stuff and it is quite good.

I don't know if I could keep up... I guess there is only one way to find out!

About keeping it up. Lit has one major advatage over writing something on your own. If you have writers block and are writeing something with 3 other people, you can always just reply your reactions to what they do.

Thanks again for all the great advice... now if I could just get up enough nerve to get started... :)
