So Notre Dame, which is already a laughingstock in college football circles, is made to look even dumber, if that's possible. If I'm the president of the University, I fire the athletic director right now. He hired Bob Davie, gave him a huge contract extension, fired him the next year, and then hired a guy who falsified his past. Plus the AD made a big deal about conducting the search all by himself. Well, I'd fire him.
Then again, the president of Notre Dame is a Catholic priest, and they're into forgiveness and stuff like that.
