Noting Categories when asking for feedback?

I'd like to suggest that when people ask for feedback that, in addition to linking to their story, they state what catagory of story it is (Erotic Coupling, Non-Consent, etc). That way, you'll be more likely to get people reading and responding who enjoy that type of story. For example, I don't like incest stories, so I wouldn't be a good candidate to offer feedback on someone's incest story.

If we all note what type of story we're asking for feedback on, I think it would help. Just a thought.

I agree

So many times I've gone on to offer feedback on stories in categories I don't like. Even though I read the whole story, I couldn't get myself to give any good feedback simply because I was put off by the category. I really haven't learnt how to distance myself from the story while viewing it for feedback.
