It was around 5pm and Julian was already finishing up his last alchemical experiment on that day. His researches for the National University on Removing rust from rare metals was almost coming to an end, and with that, a good payment awaited for him in the next weeks.

He covered with a brown and old blanket almost all the flasks over the table and locked his notebook in the top shelf, just to keep it safe. Walked away from the table and went up the stone steps to leave his basement. When he got in the main part of the house, the living room, he already felt the sweet perfume of the new guest of the house - His daughter, Katrina, has just moved in, and he wasn't used at all to having a girl around.

"Hey sweetie. I almost forgot you were here." - he said with a smile - "Are you getting used to the house?"

Katrina was nervous but also happy to be back with her father. She was excited since she hadn't seen her father in awhile and wondered if he had changed much. She was looking around when she heard her father. "Oh hi. Yes thank you. Don't worry about forgetting about me. I'm used to just making myself invisible."

Katrina smiled subconsciously making sure that nothing was out of place and she looked alright. "I would like to see my room though. If it isn't too much trouble." Katrina was really ready to get settled in and hoped she wasn't bothering him.

Julian walked around the couch, cleaning his hands in his pants. It was hard to let go the smell of the chemicals in your skin. "Wait, I didn't show your bedrooms to you?" - He leaned in the couch, next to you, and laughed slowly "You dad is getting older, dammit. I'm terribly sorry about that."

It was an honest mistake. You could see it due his helpless smile.

Julian put his hand on your left shoulder and walked you up the wooden stairs, to the second floor . The two went past the first door, the bathroom, then the second, his bedroom, and there was a last door, at the end of the corridor, with a key in it's lock.

"The key is yours. It's a mechanical key. It opens the house's front door and your bedroom, okay?"

He pulled the door and the room that wa in front of you was huge. A king sized bed, a mahogany wardrobe, curtians in the window that were moving due the night breeze, a lot of shelves in the walls with your old toys, and a table with some brand new candles, paper and all.

"I've never let go of your old things, and made sure they were clean for your first day here. I can't believe I forgot to show it to you right away", he said laughing.

Katrina smiled. "No you were busy and it's fine. Being busy is better than doing nothing." Katrina followed after her father memorizing once again were everything was. She was impressed by the mechanical key though. That was new. "I'll remember that. I like it actually."

Katrina smiled once she was in her bedroom. "I love how it feels and I'm actually glad you left everything. It makes it nicer I think and I think they were probably happy to be cleaned." Katrina giggled the shook her head. "Like I said it's perfectly fine. Thank you for letting me stay here."

Julian stood there, looking around that room that was left empty for so many years and now it was finally lively again.

"No, you don't need to say thank you, you silly"

He looked at Katrina and embraced her in his arms, puting one hand behind her, pulling her head to his chest, and and another hand around her waist.

"I'm only glad that you are here again"

It was weird hug your daughter after so many years. THe last you remember from her is when she was just a child with 4 years old, and now, she was all grown up. Her waist was firm, her hair smelled good. She even had breasts now, he could feel them touching between his chest and belly.

"It's weird to see how the time passes quickly", he said with a giggle.
