Eumie-dear, I feel for you. I just picked up the youngest ruglet from her play (a murder mystery) where she's running lights. She asked if she could kill the assistant stage director when the play's over. Mrs. Rug told her she had to ask her teacher.

As for Hippolyta--we played it as initially captured, but falling in love with Theseus gradually. This was hampered by the fact that she and I had no chemistry. And she didn't know her lines.
And she kept mispronouncing words! The moon looks like a bow, as in 'slow', as in 'ow!'.
