Hello.

I have posted a little advert in the BDSM section, but I thought I might double my chances posting here. I am a 23 year old woman with a BA in Philosophy. I've every intention of pursuing a Ph.D. in the subject, so in short that means I have a bit of brains.

Things you should know about me before sending me that lovely PM:

1. I am intelligent, I eagerly admit it. I do hope that you will be intelligent as well.

2. I do not mind speaking my mind. If you are looking for someone you can toss around without a thought, that is not me.

3. I am very eager and can be very affectionate. I do not see D/s in terms of a mere physical relation. I see a keen emotional aspect as well and hope that you do as well.

I have many proclivities when it comes to BDSM which include but are not limited to pet play, clamping, spanking, bit of bondage, intellectual domination and a bit of humiliation.

I am in Georgia and am looking for online friendships if not perhaps something more. I also do discount out the possibility of real life relationship, if the cards are right.

I look forward to hearing your responses. Thank you in advance.

ls

PS: I never giggle.

Well that's a shame, I love a woman that can giggle. I hope you find what you are looking for, if you want some intellectual conversation then head over to the chat/talk thread..I like brains, and not for eating.

*grins* I don't suppose you're looking forward to Left 4 Dead then?

(Probably too much to hope for. A girl like you who also knows videogames?)

Actually... no, I won't ask what you're into here. That's best for conversation topics!

I do video games, but not that many. Mostly PC games. I'm a Guild War and Sims 2 girl, though I loved Oblivion when I was able to play it.

You don't sound like anybody's rag doll, certainly.

I would say you have some brains. I am fairly bright myself and had to look up "proclivities"!!!

The D/s lifestyle is very interesting to me. I think there is a big misconception that it translates into cruel treatment of the sub. I spent some time talking on yahoo to a real life D/s couple that had lived that way for more than 20 years and the tenderness of the way they spoke of each other was quite intriguing.

You sound like a intelligent and amazingly deep young lady and I wish you all the luck in finding what you seek.

Well, JohnGalt, people are people. I will not speak for other submissives, but I do know that I'm a bit odd, so that might be a reason, ha!

TooKinkyCpleWV--Thank you for saying. I'd like to think that I'm well-read.

I read a lot myself and one thing I always do is when I find a word I dont know the meaning of I look it up. I think in all the trolling I have done on Lit that is a first for having to look up a word.

Guildwars eh? Every try out World of Warcraft? Or even some D&D?

Well, the main reason I do Guild Wars is because it has no subscription fees. And my necromancer kicks some butt. I am in awe of her.

I still play Neverwinter Nights. It's like an old friend.

Didn't think I'd be talking gaming on my personals thread! But I like it! Thanks, you guys.

Almost all of the people I have met through online gaming seem to be pervs too. It is great LOL.

I think the whole fantasy thing with RPGs pulls in those with dirty little minds

Any opinions on 4th edition? And have you given Spore a whirl yet, being a Sims fan? (Damn game has an unavoidable crash bug for me in the Space phase, waiting on a patch.)

niv78--True. I am really happy that the people who have posted to this thread thus far have had something to say. Not just copy+paste.

TooKinky--Yes, I've actually found a lot of BDSM-loving people via Guild Wars...and you should see the Sim porn people make!

Molecular--The 4th Edition of Guild Wars? I don't know. I haven't been able to play the game for a while now because it's on my poor internetless laptop. And I'm not familiar with Spore, I confess.

RuneBlade--I'm glad I can wow you with my proclivity-saying. I try to keep it fresh!

Oh dear! I like you!

You're very snazzy.

I have done a year of a Philosophy degree and I have a necromancer on Guild Wars too!

Unfortunately, I'm female. :)

Good luck with your search though!

Aw, gomen. I meant 4th edition of D&D, seeing the reference to NWN. Was taking a stab in the dark, guessing you miiiiight be familiar with the tabletop version too. Guess not. Ah well!

But you should REALLY check out Spore. It's a game where you take a single bacterium and evolve it through all the way up to a space explorer, creating and designing the creature/civilization as you see fit. All the various stages are a little shallow, but it's made by Will Wright, creator of SimCity et al.

... And did two people with 'mouse' in their names just post in a row? Or is my French very bad? (Considering I only took a little German, I'm betting it's the latter.)

LavenderMouse--First of all, you have an adorable name. Secondly, thank you for the kind words. Are you currently in school? If you are and ever need any Philosophy advice/chat, I am more than willing to supply.

Moleculor--I have never done the D&D tabletop game, though I have heard many legends about it. And also, now that you mention it, I do think I've heard of Spore. If I have the chance, I might have a look. I like the ridiculous nature of The Sims 2 and I like controlling them and outfitting them as I please...guess that makes me their Domme? And no, my name is soumise--it is French for submissive.

4th Ed D&D is pretty fun, i'm running a campaign currently. I also play in a 2nd ed D&D campaign, I have fun in both.

Pen and paper roleplaying is a great experience with the right group of people. Roleplaying online is fun too though, since you can get much more detailed and flavorful with your character and their actions and interactions with others. Sometimes smexy actions!

I say they should both be experienced.

I've never done the former, though I know some people who have. I think the closest I've ever gotten to live action roleplay was when I was a little girl playing this game where we had to save the unicorns or some such thing.

But yes, online roleplaying can be quite enjoyable when done properly. I'm participating in a few of those here.
