Hey all

Don't know where to post this-can't find the plugs string and I am not really goign to plug my story. rather I am "unplugging" it.

Several people have asked about FOR THE SAKE OF AN EMPIRE-when will i finish etc. The fact is I haven't had much time and what time I have had I have not devoted to this story because it started beign torn apart when I "re-submiited" it with the name ROME swapped out for Celaenia-terrible emails etc. Its disheartened me but I tried to trudge forward. However after the 4 terrible emails I got tonight tearing it apart when its been the SAME story resubmitted up to like chapter 6, I don't know what the issue has been. Its just been moved around.

Anyway I have decided not to finish the story because although it may seem childish, we do write not only for our pleasure but for the pleasure of others and since thsose four people (all annonymous) told me tonight that the story now "sucks" because Marcus and portia aren't banging one another and the ratings have dropped lower than any of my stories ever have, I am scrapping chapters 8, 9 and 10 and giving it up.

I apologzie to the people who liked it-its just not working anymore.

Sorry about my moment on the soapbox. Just needed to vent. Thank you.

That is a complete shame. You can always try submitting your new, clean version to another site and seeing what readers think over there. Don't let the bastards get you down. Good luck with whatever you do!

Thanks. Yea someone else actually suggested a new site so i am looking into it. Doesnt seem to have the heavy emphasis on stroke stories that I sometimes find here-I have a hard time really fitting the "erotica" mode -chuckles- I'll tell y'all a secret...I write my stories and make notations where i think a sexy scene might go, then when the story is finished I plug in the heat.

I have a little bit of a start on it, but my stuff is feeling weak too. I'll watch Manos, the Hands of Fate again tonight and then give it another go *laugh*

I just need to find that central theme... the proper running gag to tie everything together, and it hasn't leapt out at me yet.
