Not what we expected, but still good news

Before Xmas, I mentioned that my Frank was up for a promotion. They FINALLY decided, put someone else in the spot he was trying for (manager over 6 people). BUT, they put him in charge of a brand-new project, he will have one person reporting to him, and they both report to the manager spot he was trying for. He's getting a 15% raise and an extra 5000 shares of company stock, so not too shabby.

Just wanted to share our good news.

CONGRADULATION to you and Frank, Latina. I am very happy for you. When I read the part that he has to report to the person who has the job that he was trying for, I thought that it was a kick in the face. Then I read on to his raise and benefit and realized that it is still a blessing.
Again, I wish the two of you the best. I am glad for him.
