Not my morning

I'm watching my neighbors dog Timmy this week and last night he spent the night at my house to which he loved.

Later this morning, I was taking him for a walk and we came upon another dog across the street....naturally, Timmy became excited and wanted to go over but I got him moving....next thing I know...this dog comes out of nowhere and trys to attack Timmy. At first I thought the dog was trying to mount Timmy (the dog must have be gay or something because Timmy is male) but he wouldn't leave Timmy alone...so, I tried hitting the dog on it's side but no such luck. When I covered Timmy with my body thats when the dog backed off but the dog wouldn't leave...it stayed near me and Timmy so I had to pick Timmy up (not and easy feat because Timmy is half pitbull) and carry him for a bit until I heard one of the owners come out and get the other dog.

I tell ya....I know that domesticated animals can get brutal but damn! To be in the middle of it....scared the fuck outta me! Guess Timmy and I need a new walking route.

definitely another route....

doesn't your town/state have leash law? what was the other dog doing out without a leash anyway ??

A Battle Axe placed properly upon a dogs skull does wonders for it's aggressive attitude

Lease Law

Yes, there is a leash law probably...but where is a cop when you need one???

I would offer to bring my shepard along to help defend Timmy, but she will just want to play too...I keep telling her that she doesn't scare people when she barks and wags her tail

Meanwhile, find another route...I think Negley Park is a nice place to walk :D

B

Dogs can be territorial, if another strange dog is in the area they often go after it especially if the new dog is smaller...........Woof........Woof.
