Not Getting Notifications

I have sent a request for contact to a volunteer editor, and though I select the button to have a copy sent to my email, none comes.

I get a notice that it was successfully sent, but am concerned that the editor is not getting the message, too.

Never mind, whatever happened resolved itself. My first attempt apparently failed, and the second came through after a few hours.
