Please can you lot help me sort out a chapter. Not feeling to great ( have a kidney infection ) and my mind`s a blank. I am trying to describe a scene where Seamus ( a leprechaun ) and Aven ( a fairy ) overhears Oka ( a goblin ) from a summer house in the castle gardens. Aven had told him in the ballroom to go and meet her there. He is being hunted down by the MPF ( Magical Protection Force ). When they listen to Oka Seamus could not believe what he is hearing his twin brother Patrick had planted an opal which causes bad luck to anybody who pocesses it and it can also cause bad luck to people around him. Seamus goes back to Aven`s room ( she is a princess ) where he left his jacket from the night before and found the opal. As soon as he had it in his hand he was got red handed by the MPF. The next chapter is a trial. I can`t get my head around the details. I got the trial sene written up this secen my mind is blank. Can you help? Please.

Before I can help I'd need to know how long a leprechaun's dick is.

Now look what you have done Joe and Sarahh! Aren't you ashamed? Bringing sex into a story about leprechans and whatever other little romantic things were involved.

Oh wait! This IS a porn site.

Never mind. Carry on.

just to say what a good lot of help you are

Look Foxy.... I am sorry... I do not like being mean to anyone, but you really should lighten up....

I think it is cool you have a leprechaun story and all. Hell, I am a Tolkien freak, so I appreciate the genre, even if I was never tempted to write in it.

But a couple observations...

First, I honestly think it is great that this "reality" is so clear and real in your head that the story blocks are frustrating to you. But, for me, it is almost impossible to get into middle of this world, which is unique to you, so as to seriously suggest some character development, no matter who stole the opal ring. Please do not be offended by this. Perhaps when you have it all worked out I will understand it.

Second, while we have other "literature" being written here, this IS primarily a sex oriented story place and the authors here, pretty much all write in this vein. It is not reasonable to expect us to suddenly become innocent leprechaun story people, with all this sex and stuff on our minds.

And last, we/I/Joe/Sarahh like to be playful and have fun at each other's expense, and occasionally our own. But that is all it is, please do not take it seriously.

Good luck with your story....

Sweetie, even in the Romance category on this site the characters have sex. Or they are about to, or they think about it, or they lead up to it in chapter two, whatever.

This IS a porn site, yes? It's not a Harlequin romance.

If you're going for a non-erotic story, that would be something else entirely.

As for the other, I can't quite wrap my brain around your plot, much less give you clues as to the direction you should go.

We do better to help people with grammar, phrasing, editing, research information, etc. Generally we expect people to come up with their own story.

There is a Story Ideas Forum here. http://forum.literotica.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2

Perhaps that would be of more assistance?

Good luck.

Leaving to one side the images conjured up by the other posts, the most practical help I can suggest is that you take any two of your characters and write a scene in which they discuss what is going on.

Since this will almost certainly end up as pure exposition, it will be no good for inclusion within the actual story - but it may help clarify things in your own mind. Sometimes characters develop a life of their own despite an author's best attempts at controlling them - and maybe they might be able to shed new light on your proposed scene.

Good luck, and keep on writing...

Joe can't help his leprechaun fetish.

We've tried to get him to seek help.

Oh, now. He's quite brilliant. You don't really know him.

The more complex the mind the greater the need for simplicity of play.

:rose:

Ah, but leprechauns are very complex creatures. They only play for keeps and would tie you up and torture you as soon as look at you.

Hm, to judge by your nic, you might quite enjoy them... :D

And I don't know leprechauns, apparently!

(But it sounds as if I should.)

I'm quite sure you would love getting to know them. And vice versa, of course (with the emphasis on 'vice').

Still, if all you really wanted was a nap, some rum and some fun, then you'd be better off with a human...

I do - I do want all of those things.

But first, we must take young children outside to do huge bubbles and snap 'n pops. And then swim.

Later tonight, after the little people go to sleep (and the big people are smelling of gunpower - LOL) we'll get some "us" time.

In Ireland, leprechauns are often referred to as "the little people"... :D

Anyway, I'd better go do some work (no holiday here in the UK, and for some strange reason we seem to ignore the Fourth of July - LOL). Enjoy the celebrations!

Is it really necessary for every newbie to have a joke ( often an inside joke that they're completely clueless to ) as the only answer to any question they ask? Crack wise -- fine, but at least have the courtesy to follow it up ( in the same post ) with the reason why you can't really help, if such is the case.

Here, we're looking at writer's block. Everybody has experienced that. Even if you can't wrap your brain around the plot and characters, you can certainly offer ideas on brain lock.

And people wonder why this forum is perceived as cliquish and stuffy...

As far as my suggestion, once a scene reaches this level of frustration, I tend to pick up another story or start a new one. Walk away from the frustrating tale for a while and work on something else.

I second this advice, which is why I always have 3 or 4 projects on the go at any time. This place cliquish? I don't know what you mean;)

Cliquish or just familiarity with people for more than six years?

Edited to add:

That is the way Sub Joe is. That's the way he's always been. Why should he have to change?

Why is the responsibility of people who have been here awhile to lay down a red carpet for newbies? Why? Why can't new members lurk awhile, do a little research on the forum before they jump in and expect everything to be given them on a platter?

Most new folk do that, by the way.

Courtesy, certainly, which she did receive and her question was answered, by the way.

I am becoming very frustrated with the constant barrage of insults towards long-time members.

I went to LeperCon '05. The whole thing just fell apart.
