I'm a neo-liberal, anarchist.

Unfortunately, this one does not do 'foreign policy' where I'm usually staring at the warmongers over my left shoulder telling them "Pick up a gun, and shut the fuck up!"

*shrug*

Of course, when I'm IN CHARGE I fall more on the fascist side of things.

I'd probably be deeper into the economic right, except everytime they hint at 'Trusting a Corporation', I break out laughing.

Sincerely,
ElSol

My political compass

Economic Left/Right: -6.13 Highly left. No change there from the last time I took this test.

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.74 Strongly libertarian. Ditto

Quelle surprise, huh?

I don't do Politics.... Religion either... safer that way....

Interesting. Did this out of curiosity (politics is not my cup o' tea) and found that i'm authoritarian left.

6.88 to the left and 3.03 toward authoritarian.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -4.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.46

and now I know

These are my stats:

Economic Left/Right: -4.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.28

I've found before that the figures only relate to the questions and the context.

In one organisation I was seen as a strong libertarian/economic left winger.

In the next I was strongly an Authoritarian/economic right winger

I was the same. The context was different.

Right next to Mahatma Ghandi. Always knew there was a reason I had some of his books on my shelf...

I'm very similar - between Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.

Interesting test.

But why do I feel as if I've somehow flunked?

(edited to add my figures):

Economic Left/Right: -5.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.64

Not too far off from where I recall being last time. :)

I'm cheered that my nearest neighbours on the chart are Ghandhi and the Dalai Lama.

Economic Left/Right: -5.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.85

Headed down towards the furthest corner of the Libertarian Left. No surprise there. ;)

well I'm mostly lost, but from looking at the graphs it seems I'm pretty much spot on the Dalai lama, near Nelsom Mandella and a bit below Ghandi. I don't know what it really means, but least I'm apparently in good company :)

Because there's no right answers.

Does that make us soul mates? Or is it just a quirk of the system?

We could have answered most questions differently to get that result and the differences cancelled out.

Whether we answered the same or not, I am pleased to be close to your rating.

I think the way the scale is conceived, most Europeans would fall near by. Our political spectra are less given to extremes than the American.

PS: Likewise. :D

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.15

Anyone else seeing a pattern of the quadrant we're falling into ;)

Yes indeed - we've got English Lady as well. If nothing else, I think we could have quite a lot of fun. ;)

Economic Left/Right: 8.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.92

That was beyond a shadow of a doubt the most left leaning, biased, manipulative set of questions I have ever looked upon...

awful....
