Don't all women who cheat try to justify what they are doing? The story may not tell you how she is doing it, but deep down inside she knows it's wrong but comes up with excuses to keep cheating on her husband. Just an aside. I write a lot of what most would call cheating wife stories... they all justify it to themselves yet may not tell anyone about it.

Men do the same thing

I’ve cheated both emotionally and physically, and I’ve always justified my actions as a result of feeling misunderstood emotionally, or being shut down physically by a partner. I don’t think that it’s just women who justify their actions this way. As a man, I think that most of the men who cheat do it because they want to feel desired. If they don’t feel desired at home, they look for love, affection, acceptance in the form of emotional connection to another person. Usually that means sex, but not always. To circle back to the original post for a moment, I find it hard for anyone, male or female, to “innocently” justify cheating. Cheating by it’s very definition is not innocent. Maybe crissynh50pt has a different opinion, that she was just born to be promiscuous, but for me, my own promiscuity has always been the result of a deficit in me, or in my relationship with my SO. Neither of which has ever been innocent.
