'Not a pleasant person to be around'

Biden is clearly sundowning, and if this quote from Politico is true, it sure seems like the cause is dementia. Anyone who's been around someone with dementia knows the symptoms, and having to curate information to specifically avoid angry, irrational outbursts is a telltale sign. "Put that in, he likes that," one senior official said as if they were talking about a child. It's insane, and a stark contrast to all the laughably false claims tht Biden is functional.

Take that and add it to the leaks from White House aides saying that Biden is only largely functional between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and the picture gets a little clearer. He's sundowning, has to be led around by handlers in public, and can't control his emotions even in settings where you'd expect calm discourse. Call it a coincidence, but all those things point to the president having dementia. It just makes too much sense.

This is the level of chaos that an already perilous re-election effort simply can't afford. The back-biting has begun, and once that starts, it's hard to get everyone back in line. When you have White House officials continually leaking damaging information, that's a sign that things are out of control. Further, as the Politico article explains, because Biden's inner circle is so small and insular, there's little reason to think a change in strategy will occur. Jill Biden, Hunter Biden, and a couple of top advisors are running the show, and their thirst for power is clouding any rationality about the situation.

There is no out here for the Demonrats. There's no saving political knight riding in on a white horse over the horizon. This is the president and he's the Democrat nominee. I know there's been some suggestion that Republicans will regret Biden's probable dementia being exposed because he could then be replaced, but that's so unlikely as to not be a serious concern. Short of the president choosing to step aside voluntarily, which would also dictate he resigns from office (because you can't be too senile to run for re-election but fine to finish out a term), there is no path to replace him.

If he does resign, Kamala Harris becomes President, and if she's not the chosen successor at the DNC in Chicago, the infighting will be a sight to see. And if she IS the anointed successor, she'll lose worse than Biden is going to.

The collapse has started, and it's not going to be pretty.

But it IS going to be fun to watch.

When animal control finally hauls o'l two scoops away to the nursing home, (his final destination) as a parting gift for all of his achievements there needs to be a go fund me program to bribe the staff at the nursing home  Not to change his diaper for at least a 2-3 weeks at a time

That qualifies as "Wat mean."

You should've heard what they said about the last guy

MAGAts: "Yeah, Trump's a jerk - so what? Oftentimes, you have to be mean to be successful."

Also MAGAts: "People think Biden is a jerk. This speaks poorly of his character."

lol

Asshole, moron

SOMETIMES IT HELPS TO BE THE CRAZIEST GUY IN THE ROOM: Wesley Hunt reflects on Trump threat to Taliban leaders: ‘My favorite President Trump story.’

Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX) argued former President Donald Trump was able to keep the United States safe from its enemies, recounting his “favorite” story of Trump when he negotiated with Taliban leaders.
Hunt explained how Trump wanted “a conditions-based withdrawal” of U.S. troops from Afghanistan when he and then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo were negotiating with Taliban leaders. During these negotiations, Trump told Taliban leaders that he would kill them “if you harm a hair on a single American,” prompting the translator present with them to appear stunned.
“And Trump goes, ‘Tell him. Just tell him what I said!’” Hunt said on The Sage Steele Show. “Reached into his pocket, pulled out a satellite photo of the leader of the Taliban’s home, and handed it to him, got up, and walked out the room.”
More like this, please:

Yes, Trump is mean AND EFFECTIVE

Zombie is a lying POS dementia addled asshole and INEFFECTIVE

Funny how our PB Deplorables are still so angry when they should be riding high.

What a miserable way to live. ☹️

My goodness, I knew there was a reason to revisit the Politics Board. The tone and quality of the content really does need lifting. I shall do my poor best, but I fear this may be beyond even my meagre abilities. Nevertheless, one feels one must try.

"Chloe contemplates what may be needed to lift the quality and tone...
...but decides a backhoe is probably a better option."

Talk about draining the swamp . . . .

Anyone else notice how, although the right spent years flying the "Biden is senile" flag, they never suggested anything about him wearing diapers - until after we learned Trump really does wear them? Hmm...

Just gotta take some time from vacationing to acknowledge that the PB’s resident fat assed revolutionary and BBC loving twink are side by side in solidarity with the foreign actor sitting in front of a computer at a communist disinformation farm.
