My one and only shot of a reindeer....SIGH!!! As you can see, it didn't come out very good

This is Nord Kapp. The northernmost tip of Europe. Very disappointing, very foggy, and very cold. I asked around. Apparently, this was the most fog they had in years

DAMMIT! The picture was taken at midnight, BTW. On a clear day you can see the midnight sun, but clearly not today

Hammerfest...northernmost town in Europe...it was a fucking hellhole. Cold, wet. I kept thinking "Maybe it gets better in the summer".....but then I would realize that it WAS summer and it only got worse....

This is the closest I got to the midnight sun.

BEHOLD! The 11pm sun!

This was taken in Rovaniemi, Finland, at 11pm. I think it's a pretty good pic.

It was a very cool trip...I couldn't get over that fact that it never got dark...

Great pictures. Looks like you had a wonderful trip. I'm jealous. I feel so land locked. I haven't been able to really travel in years. This is the longest I've gone being on American soil (well I did have a vacation to Canada) since I was 5 years old.
