Noobie Question on rules of posting

I'm a newbie here, I just signed up today. I have many stories in my arsenal as I've been writing for quite some time. I did read the rules and I noticed one that disallows any portrayal of underage persons. I also noted a section for "first times".

I have, what I believe is a beautiful story about the exploration of two teenage girls that has absolutely nothing to do with pedophilia and everything to do with youthful love and exploration. It is as tasteful as any erotica can be.

Can anyone advise me if stories about first times that involve only underage (though sexually mature) people is allowed in the "first times" category? It is a story I believe is worth sharing and that will be appreciated. There isn't any way that I can alter the ages of the characters either because it is vital to the story and wouldn't make a bit of sense if I tried to turn them into 18 (or 21, or whatever) year olds. And technically, where I live, the characters are over the age of consent.

Absolutely nothing under 18 is the rule--I believe.

I'm sorry to say that no matter what the age of consent in your particular area, the site goes by US standards which is 18 years old minimum. If you can't rework that story to make it work, than you should be glad that you have an arsenal of stories to submit besides it

Literotica rules state that the characters must be 18. Your story will be rejected if you do not follow those guidelines.

There are other sites that take stories with younger characters. That's always an option if you feel you cannot change their ages. (Other AH members have stories posted on multiple sites for this and other reasons).

To clarify the rule, Literotica recognizes that teens have sex, and you can mention that your character lost their virginity in high school; likewise, a story can mention that a charcter was sexually abused as a child. What you can't do is present any graphic sex, however tasteful, involving anyone under 18. To do so will make your story inelegible.

Unless you've explicitly stated that they are under 18 or perhaps an integral part of the story is that they are in 4th year [year 9?](no idea about US equivalents) then Lit. won't pick up on it.

Many, many stories at Lit (some of mine also) simply leave aside age related facts and leave the understanding with the reader.

I tried that once, where in my head the characters were 19 and 20, but I was told they seemed underage, and had to add a paragraph or two.

Please don't try to break the rules

The no-sex before 18 rule is there to protect Literotica and ultimately all of us who are members of this site.

Any erotic site that is based or used in the United States is vulnerable to attack from people who are virulently opposed to any erotica. By making all characters 18 or over, the norm for consent in most of the US, Literotica avoids some of the vindictiveness.

If under age stories were allowed, that would give ammunition to those who want to close this site down. There are other places that take stories involving teenagers. If you want to post them, please put them on the other sites and not here.

Ultimately, this is Laurel and Manu's site. They set the rules. Breaking their rules or trying to break them is discourteous to them and could in theory get them (and us and possibly YOU) prosecuted in a show trial.

Please, put the story somewhere else.

I did a story once between an aged old guy and a poodle. I'm not sure why the story was rejected. The possible reasons, I think were:

1. Nobody wants to read a story about a narley, wrinkled, old fucker having sex

2. The Poodle was under 18.

I can't really be sure.
