Well, my first wife did once.
A couple of years latter, she hinted that she would like to get together with a older guy, a school girl crush. Before she was out of high school, he was out of the service, married, and living the other side of a VERY large metropolitan area. I'd knew the couple by name from regional church activities, and his reputation as a philanderer.
We worked out how she could contact him and to meet when his wife wasn't around (Shame on me!) They spent a couple of weekends together, he finagled some day trips to our apartment. (Turns out his wife pretty much knew who what and when, but cut me slack because she didn't know if I did.)
In summary, she asked for the experience and I was pleased to say, "yes". We didn't hide from each other. She did something that made her very happy AND we didn't let it have any negative impact on our relationship.
This has been my policy with all my SO's. I've had 3 wives total, and infidelity was never a reason for any of my break ups. Act responsibly and with concern for the welfare of all, and commitment doesn't have to forbid sex with others.
I've never been in a cuckold or pussy whipped or female lead relationship. They've always been equal partners working for the welfare of the other.
My current wife and I have had secondary poly relationships. That's not cheating -- everyone knows and agrees.
I've given several of my SO's "hall passes" at their request. I've gotten some in return. That's not cheating -- there's no hiding, coverups, nor sneaking around.
So while an outside observer might say "there must be cheating going on", my SOs have always obtained permission and never failed to tell me what I needed to know, and sometimes a lot more!
Except that one time during while I married my first love...
I was 21, very naive and trusting, had no sexual experience, extreme conservative very religious upbringing, she was my first kiss, you know the song.
She had a boyfriend while we were engaged. Introduced me to him as a co-worker she dated once so I knew his name and could pick him out a lineup.
We were married a few months, missionary sex seemed acceptable to her, and other than cowgirl, I didn't have any other ideas to try. Then she ask for oral. In particular, she said "lick my clit like <boyfriend-name> does."
My reaction:
I didn't wimp out, take revenge, nor start a fight. I figured she wanted things to work out for us; she wanted better sex for us; she show lots of courage asking; her motivations were good. I didn't push her on the boy friend, and she volunteered a story we both know lacked a lot of truth. Eventually she stopped seeing him.

My reaction:
- I recognize that name; I know who <boyfriend-name> is.
- I've fingered her clit (and pussy), tongue for finger seems reasonable, it's as clean as her mouth.
- Good that she will talk about sex, this will just make out sex life better.
- Her word "does" is present tense, which implies he must still be licking her, which implies they are fucking, etc. even after our wedding, which implies they were doing it during our engagement.
- Her face shows that she realizes she just made an unintended confession.
