Hi guys,
I found a story around this time last year, and it was called 'Tonight, Elizabeth' in the NonConsent/ Reluctance section.*

This is all the info I can find on it:
Tonight, Elizabeth - NonConsent/Reluctance - Literotica.com

Jude looked me in the eyes. "Tonight, Elizabeth," he said.

Elizabeth Day. (Well, I've long since been Elizabeth Carmichael, but at the time of this story's taking place I was still a bachelorette). People have told me certain*...

People have told me certain things about myself that I know are absolutely true—they've told me I'm kooky, abstract, eccentric and freewheeling.

I'm still learning all these truths, and like everybody, I have a story. Of course, it's also a memory. The best place to start it is the day in my curio shop. ... (Found through google searches.)

It says the author has removed the story. I am wondering if anyone has seen this story anywhere else on a different website, or has a copy of it saved, or maybe knows if the author has submitted it under a different name. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks for reading!

If the author took it down (the reasons are his/her alone and not our business technically) it is in poor taste to use the "way back machine" or to post links to other sites that may have it. In fact, the latter of the two would break rules here also.

In this case the author's taken their whole profile down as well, so I suppose that's an even further step. An etiquette issue.

Wow, way to get on your high horse man! Sometimes people have documents saved or maybe the author uploaded a better version under a different name, with a note that says a different version was uploaded before (which has happened in the past) - that is what I was trying to find. Also I read that in a pinned note, that while it would break the rules to post an external link in the forum, if someone wanted to share links, they could do so through private messages.

How do you know they've taken their whole profile down as well? I was trying to find their profile but couldn't find the name of the author.

A.) I'm not a man. Thanks, man.
B.) It's Lit's "policy" to not link to other sites (assuming it could be available elsewhere).
C.) It's showing respect to the author if they want it gone.

That's how.

So, what I meant was, I googled the title of the story and it came up with a hit, but when I clicked on that page, it says 'story removed' or whatever. But the google search does not show the author's name. I tried googling a story that I know is still up, and the google search still doesn't show the author's name. So how can you be sure that their profile is gone, if you don't know their name? Because then you can't type in that exact name into a search engine and get a result saying their profile is gone. (They could've just changed their name.)

Anyway it doesn't matter, I don't think I'm gonna find this story/author. Also, I've taken on board the point you said re: respecting the author's privacy/ wishes. I didn't think about it like that before, and I think when you first said it, it made me bristle a bit, but now I've thought about it, and you're right. It's not cool.

I was trying to find their profile because I wanted to see if they had written anything else. They had a really good style of writing.

Anyway thanks for your replies.
