I would like to tell you all that the program Survivor was ripp off, New Zealand had a program called Treasure Island made a couple of years ago that was 100 times better and anybody who has seen it would agree. The amercian version is so overdone and why do you people have to analyse everything you seem to make fuss over any decision a individual makes that is different from your own.

And one last thing I guess most of you have never watched a rugby union match, well go and watch the bledisloe cup from the other night. I promise you will enjoy that match even if your not the biggest fan of non-crappy sport.

Oh you think the US version is bad. Not even close people.
Try and watch the Scandinavian versions of the same. The Danish, Swedish or the Norwegian. Talk about seriously fucked up shit. If the program wasn't so sad, I would laugh my ass of at those contestants. Mind you, laugh at them not with them.

I tried watching that show just once to see what all the 'hub-bub' was. After 5 minutes, I decided Id rather watch Millionaire than that. And my family all know how I feel about Regis.

OK, I admit I like the show. What I find so fascinating is the group dynamic. It seems to be a microcosm of society.

I have seen threads on here that talk of the future as a world of harmony with no borders between countries. Yet if you watch this show you will see how deceptive and cruel people will be to achieve a goal, in the case of survivors the goal is money, gee that sounds pretty real life. There are contestants on the show that hold the opinion that they should not form cliques, alliances they call them, because it would not be fair to vote people off just by consensus. Then there is an alliance of four people that covertly banded together and voted as a block against one person. Low and behold guess who was booted off! I can't wait to see how the "make love not war", unallied players react. I bet they retaliate with their own alliance. This is how wars are started, kinda. Up go the borders!

Another analogy I'd like to make is how the two tribes, that's what they called them, joined into one by sending two ambassadors to a summit. The ambassadors lived in luxury for 24 hours. The show's producers said that they should be treated like real diplomats and they acted like diplomats. They didn't think of anyone but themselves, enjoying all of the catered food and four bottles of wine. When they went back and told the others how they were wined and dined their constituents were pissed because they were an after thought. Sounds like Washington to me.

People wonder, "How did the world get so screwed up." Just look at how we play our stupid games.

I too think that US tv sucks man you folks over on the other side of the big pond get all the good shows.
