Non Medicinal Remedy for Headache?

Anyone have a cure for a headache? I can't really get out to get some advil or aspirin as the roads are too icy.

Sorry to hear that....

I am not a dr. but I get migranes... some things I have tried... tiger balm on the neck and temples or some sort of heat cream(read the directions) or a hot shower or bath or ice on the back of the neck or try to massage your jaw line for a while. You might also be dehydrated so perhaps lots of fluids. These are suggestions again I am not in the medical field but sometimes some of these remedies have helped me with my migranes or at least alliveate the pain. Hmm perhaps you have been reading too much in front of computer and the strain on the eyes and such.

A cool, darkened room. A warm cloth on the back of the neck and a cool one on your forehead. Someone to rub the muscles of your shoulders, lower skull and temples. Slow tempo breathing, through the nose and out the mouth. A nap.

If no tigerbalm? Gently massage temples at same time, taking deep breathes in and out, relaxing as much as possible.

Sometimes it works for me if I press the top of my thumb
on the rooftop of your mouth for a few secs at a time.

Or, if you have an oil burner? Burn lavender oil.

Hope it gets better.

LOL Maybe a short break from the computer, stretching and
doing some eye exercises.

The temples. I like your idea cause it doesn't take me away from the computer. LOL. I'm gonna get some ice water to drink and a warm washcloth!
