I have two non-erotic stories (or rather books) and they both quickly got a 'H' next to them. It seems people out there are starved of non-erotic material and tend to lap it up.

My second book actually got to number two in the novel section with only ten voters. I checked again tonight though and the story is no longer on the pages, yet it's still showing as hot. It's all pretty strange to me.

I did make one mistake when I submitted my first story, I submitted it under non-erotic and although it is sex free I meant to submit it under the novel section. Oh well, never mind. lol

thanks to the two of you - I will visit DM's and hope HE tells me what his feedback/experience has been - just wondering if there is any REALLY positive critique on these stories on lit - and if it would be worth my time posting one here for feedback, or just sending to a publisher?

I have one non-erotic story here on Lit. It wasn't very well received. I thought it was a decent story. Maybe not great, but decent.

Got a public comment that asked something along the lines of "What was the point?" (Basically, why did I bother writing the story). I guess it was just too morbid for some people's taste.

I didn't really get any feedback that would have helped make it a better story.
