NO, I haven't read that book, no, I don't have a car, no, I don't have a driver's license (working on it!), and the best thing I can do with my legs is to spread them.

Well, 'Invisible Monsters' is a non-erotic (although sexy at times) book about a catwalk model who has everthing, until she has a motor 'accident': while she's driving, she gets her face - ok, her jaw - shot off, and is left disfigured and incapable of speech. She goes from being the beautiful centre of attention to being so hideous that no one will acknowledge she exists-
