Noir Settings

lol, have you seen Midnight in Paris?

No, I haven't, I was never much into Woody Allen, but the storyline sounds interesting. I used to do a fair bit of Ballroom and Latin-American dancing before the little fella came along, and to honest, I liked the venues and clothes, and the general event, as much as the dancing itself :)

Bought an old Lawrence Block noir set in Tampa, KILLING CASTRO. A Tampa hitman takes a contract to assassinate Fidel Castro.

Yep, I think it reveals the romantic in us. We romanticise time-periods other than our own. (Or at least some of us)

I did ballroom and latin with my ex for a while before we settled on brazilian zouk. Couple dancing is fun, I can imagine living in an era where it being the norm would be quite exciting.
