I'm running a book on next year's winner:

George Bush 3- 1

Areil Sharon 5-1

Yosser "Gis a state" Arafat 6-1

Joint Sharon/Arafat 4-1

Robert Mugawbe 2-1

Anyone else you think might be in with a chance - don't forget to look at past winners to see what worthy candidates there have been: eg, Kissenger, Mother Theresa, Carter...

Gimme a tenner on David Beckham. What are the odds?

Nah, I think Hanns should get it. His symbol of the machine gun inspires such hope in us all.

Just give it to Jesus and Mohammed and once and for all dispel those ridiculous rumours that religion causes war, death, suffering. </sarcasm>
I'm still waiting for my Beckham odds.

on a serious note,
Norway.
They have worked out the peace in Sri Lanka and always negotiate in conflicts.
Crappy odds, though, since Norway gives out the prize.

About the same chance as winning the Eurovision Song Contest.

Peace in Sri Lanka?

Not in this life time.

Wait 'til they talk autonomy - then it's gonna get ugly.
It looks better than it has for decades. They both ceased military activity back in Feb.

Ok.......And you would have done........what?

I agree with what was done. They should have told hospital personel what the gas was, but beyond that, it was done very well.

America better learn...........IT IS COMING HERE.
