No Women Pass Marine Officer Test, So They are Ordered to Lower the Standard

General Martin Dempsey, shill for Barack Obama, is ordering the standards be dropped so that women can pass the test to become Marine infantry officers. I assume if they don’t meet the new lower standard it will again be lowered. This can prove disastrous, after all, that’s how Obama got elected. They lowered the standard to the point it could walk below a pregnant cockroach without even stooping. In all 29 women failed to pass the rigorous standards required for combat officers. Only four women were able to pass the first day’s test.

Two years ago Obama’s ventriloquist dummy Dempsey laid down an edict that if women failed tests, officers better have a very good reason for not lowering standards to help them pass. That sounds more like a threat than an order and any officer looking forward to collecting a pension better walk carefully. It reminds me that years ago when I lived in the New York City metro area, they did the same thing for firefighters.

It has been a nightmare for the training school. Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro, who is in his first year has decided that recruits no longer have to pass every test in order to become firefighters. One recruit graduated even though she failed the running test five times. Injuries are another problem. Because the lower standards mean out of shape men and women are now eligible to apply. In the average year before the lower standards the class of 300 averaged two injuries. This years class had at least a dozen.

The fact remains that if they can’t set up a ladder in training, there is no way to expect them to be able to do it in the field, under stressful conditions. A case in point is recruit Wendy Tapia, who not only failed the running test five times but has been shown to be accident prone. She has an excuse for everything. The first time she failed the running test, she claimed she had a fractured foot and the second time she said she had a respiratory infection.

She not only endangers the citizens she is supposed to protect, she also endangers the lives of firemen who actually passed the test. Can we afford to risk the lives of our heroes in the Marines for the sake of “diversity”?

Too right. The ones who can't pass muster should just go onto Medicaid Disability. That won't cost very much.

I think the US did the same thing to qualify Democrat presidential candidates the past two elections. :D

Of course. Because nothing says 'highly qualified for the Presidency' like a drunk-driving, semi-literate simian, who lost the popular vote and had to be helped over the finishing line by his own brother and Faux News.

Of course people should be properly qualified for their posts, and even more so in life-threatening situations like these. Why would the authorities want less qualified people in position? But the same applies to all areas of working life, and here the Conservatives, at least in this country, seem to be far less picky than the progressives. It's fine to employ unqualified teachers, for example. Odd that the legislation for this was brought in by Michael 'high standards' Gove - but then it proved an excellent way of undercutting teachers' pay and standards, and diluting the profession with a load of knuckle-draggers who would never have made the grade otherwise, and who were pleasingly compliant to the latest diktats, having never been taught to think for themselves.

Army ROTC Cadets Pressured To Wear High Heels At ‘Walk A Mile in Her Shoes’ Event To Prove They Support Sexual Harassment Program…

What do they have planned for Cinco De Mayo?

Army ROTC cadets are complaining on message boards that they were pressured to walk in high heels on Monday for an Arizona State University campus event designed to raise awareness of sexual violence against women.

The Army openly encouraged participating in April’s “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” events in 2014, but now it appears as though ROTC candidates at ASU were faced with a volunteer event that became mandatory.

“Attendance is mandatory and if we miss it we get a negative counseling and a ‘does not support the battalion sharp/EO mission’ on our CDT OER for getting the branch we want. So I just spent $16 on a pair of high heels that I have to spray paint red later on only to throw them in the trash after about 300 of us embarrass the U.S. Army tomorrow,” one anonymous cadet wrote on the social media sharing website Imgr, IJReview reported Monday.

In a Reddit Army thread on the subject — titled “Okay, who put the cadets up to this?” — one user said the claims were legitimate and added, “I just don’t understand why [General] Combs would court political controversy like this. Isn’t the military supposed to avoid faddish political movement and religious issues.”

SEXUAL HARASSMENT: It was female officers who made male ROTC cadets march in high heels. Quick, tell the Defense Department’s gender equity officers.
