No Turkey for Thanksgiving......

Lot's of turkey available. It's the 12-gauge shells you can't find.

Turkey hunting is on my bucket list. I’m told it takes a ton of patience. Unlike areas where they are protected (ie. suburban and semi rural areas), I’ve heard that wild turkeys are incredibly adept at avoiding hunters. True?

I'd rather get to see family on Thanksgiving than eat turkey.

Sadly, that's not an option for most Lit Deplorables. :(

Already have two in the freezer. The wise will be shopping now for nonperishable products they may need in the coming weeks and months.

You can hear them from a ways off, but you can't sneak up on them. They are a sit and wait hunt, not a stalking hunt.

The wild ones, I mean. Not the generically modified ones you buy at the store.

I've seen them walk past the dogs without the dogs ever even noticing them
and the dogs were awake and always looking for something to chase.

The neighbor's cats learned to avoid the place like the plague...

There is a bright spot in all of this. What with the run on the stores that is inevitably going to occur the masses beginning to hoard food will mean that reloading supplies will become more available. :D
