He would still vote for Trump - even after this. Because, as he said, he's a republican. Note he didn't say he would do the right thing because he's an American, but instead that as he is a republican it would rule his vote.

From about the 3 minute mark in the video in the link:

GS: Did you consider it a lawful request when the president asked you to find the votes?

BR: I'm not a lawyer.

GS: Knowing what you know now, Would you vote for him again?

BR: I support republicans. I always have. I probably always will.

GS: So you would vote for him again?

BR: Well president Trump isn't on the ballot in 2024 right now so we'll have to wait and see what will happen.

When Dr Frankenstein would still do it all over again, I can't say he's being particularly moral. He's being minimally decent and law abiding.

Yes, as I noted on another thread, this is why I think that talk of the demise of the Republican Party is off the beam. I think there will be enough who will vote Republican no matter what to keep the party afloat. They'll just ignore anything happened that doesn't currently justify them. The same is true with the Democratic Party, I think--although I don't think the Democrats have the same degree of internal rot that the Republicans do. And we have comparable examples between Democrats and Republicans on power transition times. We don't have to rely on subjective speculation on what each would do/have done.

This. And the fact that Raffensperger engaged in standard republican voter suppression tactics leading up to the election reinforces the notion that he's far from "moral". He and the Georgia GOP are willing to be corrupt but not criminal when it comes to election interference. Also, he and his wealthy masters probably didn't want to deal with Georgia burning again if Raffensperger tried to help Trump steal the state.

.

Note....the assumption here is that voting for some communist shit stain of a Democrat is "the right thing to do" for an "American" LMFAO!!!

^^ Totally rational. Not unhinged at all. Yup. A model of sanity.

Creeping Charlie has become more unhinged with each passing day as Biden ascends to the Presidency, and Trump and his cult are relegated to objects of derision and scorn. Hopefully the FBI is keeping track of the gun porn crowd, because the cowards always seem to "pop" off whenever they're made fun of or ignored.

Nothing stops him from writing in the name of another Republican.

Well, doesn't that fit the definition of lawful evil. (Where "evil" has a dimension of relativity, as always.)

But seriously, it's understandable he wouldn't answer that question, especially not in a conclusive negative way, even in current situation. What his real personal opinions are we don't, and likely won't know.

I read the transcript. Sounded like he was channeling Don Corleone...fucking nuts!

Notice they don't deny it. :)

....because that plays into your plan to divert the conversation.

I stand with Raffensperger on this statement of his!

I don't know about other folks on the left...

...I liked McCain and would have voted for him...

...in another year...Obama was just way better for me.

...had he not picked that dummy Palin...

...had he not listened to his handlers and changed his way of talking to people. His best speech of the whole campaign was his concession...where he just spoke like himself.

...I like him to this day even though I have clear policy disagreements with him.

He's getting quite pissy of late that nobody will play Teh Deflection Game with him anymore.
