Hi, I requested some info a few weeks ago and Literotica has yet to respond. Hopefully, I will soon have my (non-erotic) short stories for sale on amazon.com. I am also ready to post another story here. I was wondering if it was okay to announce my amazon.com stories at the end of the one I'm submitting here? Anyone know if this is acceptable?

No HTML links or web addresses are allowed within stories, and I doubt even a commercial announcement without a direct link would slip through.

You can probably mention it in your profile, though. Not with a link, but saying something to the effect that you have stories for sale on Amazon, and how we can find them when we get there.

Here in the bulletin boards you can add a discrete link to your signature line, as long as you don't go about spamming the place. :)

How about a story that is based on a particular DVD? Can you mention, "Based on the film 'Lesbian Bikers from Hell,' by Bi-ker Films"?

Taking it a step further, how about saying, "If you liked reading this story, you may enjoy the film 'Lesbian Bikers from Hell,' by Bi-ker Films"?

No URLs are posted, and the readers are given useful and possibly welcome information.

It's possible. Give it a shot. Worse thing that can happen is Laurel removing it, but I think it might be acceptable. After all, there are tons of movie and book reviews posted in the Reviews & Essays categories.

I do know that reviewing online articles, sites or communities, even if no direct link is provided, is very frowned upon, for fear of otherwise having the site flooded by spammers reviewing (a.k.a. advertising) their own sites.
