No nominations for most influential poet?

OK. To start you off I have nominated Senna Jawa.

Unless someone else nominates someone, he will win outright.

I nominate tzara, his regular contributions to Poetry Feedback & Discussion are gems, (although they make me jealous and his thread of forms is the first place I go to when trying to get the basics of a specific poem form.

Senna was removed by Admin months ago after several attacks on members. I believe he was allowed to return to retrieve his poetry but warned to stay away from this forum.

Help! Does Tzara count if he's not submitted any poetry in 2019? I've no idea who has submitted actually from the forum apart from me (I had 2), Would be helpful if members who submitted poems could speak up.

I had six poems posted in 2019 but I'm NOT an influential poet.

As I read it the criteria do not specify that the poet posted in Literitica Poems sections

" The 2019 Literotica Award Nominations: Most Influential Poet

In this category, please nominate the poet who affected you the most in 2019. Whose poems did you seek out and enjoy? Who made laugh/cry/etc.? Whose body of work most had an effect on you or your writing (if you're an author) this year?

Poet must be an active Literotica member (meaning their account is still currently on Literotica – it has not been removed or cancelled) who submitted stories during the year 2019 (and those submissions must still be on the site).

One nomination per member, please. If multiple nominations are made by a member, only the first listed will count."

To me this does say that the nominated person does have to have submitted (for stories read poems) during 2019.

I have heard back from Laurel and I was right.
To be nominated a poet has to have had a poem submitted and accepted in 2019 and the poem must still be on the site.
That said I don't know if the nominated poets have submitted anything, but if they haven't they aren't eligible.

OK. Do I withdraw my nomination now?

So we have to root through the submissions to make sure our choice of poet is eligible? No wonder no one voted. :(

Thanks everyone! At last the most influential poet nomination thread is peopled.

Have you read the other thread in Poetry Hangout? Seems Tzara did submit in 2019, so your nomination is valid.
