No New Year's post contest, to allow angry GB Deplorables a "cool off" period

Exposing the GB Deplorables' reliance on this forum as their only source of human interaction during the holidays has worked well.

But, in the spirit of kindness as we ring in the New Year, I won't be holding a contest for the upcoming holiday. The Chrismas wagers produced 3 threads about me + got my most butthurt troll to start threatening me in personal correspondence. Their feelings are obviously in a tender way right now.

So, no contest from me - though if you'd like, you could of course start your own.

So far, so good. They're clearly still butthurt about it, which means they're self-conscious about it, too. That's the new normal here.

They really want to appear normal, so Rory's "betting" threads struck right at heart of their self-consciousness.
