No Minotaur Stories?

I'm wondering if maybe I looked in on the fantasy stories list that maybe I might find something, but I assumed it would be better categorized under the Non-Human stories.

I looked in the tags part of the Non-Human stories (because there's just too much to sift through to look through summaries and titles) and didn't see anything for minotaurs.

I'm pretty surprised. If there is a story about one/some I'd like to read it. But if not, maybe I'll just have to try and write it myself. I mean, minotaurs would offer a pretty good combination of non-consent/reluctance and non-human. And really, they can pretty much be any way you want, as long as they look right, since most of the stuff heard about them came from tabletop games like D&D. As far as I've read, the actual Minotaur just ate people who were sent into the labyrinth and couldn't get out, then he was killed by some legendary hero.

But I think I did read recently a story (non-erotic and by my favorite author who writes mostly teen fantasy) about a minotaur who could speak and was educated and whatnot. It was interesting.

Anyways, I was curious about the lack of seeing anything for minotaurs. It's bad enough that there are very few centaur stories. Seems like all the non-human stuff is aliens, werewolves, and demons.

Hmmm. I just ran a search on the "Story Search" on the word "minotaur" and came up with 95 hits. You didn't try that? What did you try?

I just read a minotaur story in the last couple of days off the new stories list. I of course can't remember the title, although I think it was just "The Minotaur." And I know there are others, as sr found in his search. Some might be under sci-fi & fantasy, I guess, but they should turn up.

I ended up going and searching in sci-fi/fantasy and found about a handful of stories. I read the one that was posted on the 31st and loved it but it was so short! I wished there was more of it.

I'll still most likely end up writing my own but I'll give the others a look. I hate how picky I am over stories.

Don't be sorry about that unless it's interfering with your own enjoyment. I'm picky too -- I want to read good quality stuff, or at least to know the author is trying. My list of peeves in stories is known.

If an author says they are open to feedback and critiques, then constructive feedback should be given. For any of us -- if we don't know what we're doing wrong, we can't fix it.

Hmmm... have you tried searching in nonhuman?

I don't think the male in pandarus's story Sacrifice is ever identified as a minotaur, but in the chapter I read, I assumed he was.

No I'm not. I've found some and am currently reading a series of one. It's the second one I've read. I was just stating that it's odd how there weren't any tags for it in Non-Human.

I searched for stories tagged with minotaur, and then narrowed that down to stories in nonhuman. Like I said, there are five.

I'm not sure how you are finding them unless you use the story search thing.

Click on the link I put in post #20, the one you quoted in post #21. You will find five nonhuman stories with the minotaur tag, including the story Boxlicker mentioned. I checked each and every one of those five stories. They are all in nonhuman, and they all have a minotaur tag. Look at the page's title: tags.literotica.com/nonhuman-category-tags/minotaur/

The category pages don't list every single tag. To search for stories with a certain tag, you have to go to the story search page, click on advanced search, enter the tag you want to search for, specify that you want to search tags, and, if you'd like, select a category. If you don't select a category, you'll get twenty-one stories with the minotaur tag. If you select nonhuman, you'll get five in nonhuman.

Yes, yes, yes I understand all that. I'm just showing you what I found, trying to explain to you why I said I didn't see any, even though I explained how I found it I still had to go and show you EXACTLY what I saw because it didn't seem you were getting it.
