I should plan better when giving names to things.

In my current story, there's a city called Unity's Landing, after a historic spaceship. Now, when writing about that city's premier watering hole, how do I write it technically correct?

"Welcome to Stan's, Unity's Landing's finest watering hole!"

That's quite a mouthful and not very elegant, now that I see it in writing. Dang. Any way around the issue besides replacing the name with "the city's"?

I would suggest using just "Unity's finest...etc"

once you have established the full name it makes sense natives will shorten it.

Best example I can give is Stephen King's Salem's lot. The city was named Jerusalem's Lot, but they nick named it Salem's Lot

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. With a bit of restructuring, "the city's" and shortening the name in subsequent paragraphs, I should be good to go. I've provided the "Stan's" line merely as an example to get my issue across, but the solutions given should help.

Thank you!

Or just assume people use a short form, like LA for Los Angeles, or “the Bay Area” rather than “the San Francisco Bay Area”. How about “Welcome to Stan’s, the Landing’s finest watering hole!”?
