It is here that she comes to speak her mind to herself, where only nature is the one single audience. A few know the road to this place, for them she has left a small noticeboard.

Hello and welcome to my own little corner. I decided to make this place to give myself and my dearest friends a place to vent frustrations, share thoughts or just pass notes.

It can contain a whole slew of things. From passing thoughts to personal rants to RP ideas.

The ones that I care for

Scarletnym - My little spartan sweetheart. Little words can describe how lucky I feel to have met you.
From the moment we met, there was this.. vibe between us. A connection that drew us close to eachother and still lasts to this very day.

Chgris - The teacher. While we did not speak much one to one, you helped me a lot with exploring who I really am.
You helped me to set aside my initial worries. As critical as you are, I would not wish you otherwise.

LunaWolf72 - The Wolf mother. Bonds do not always have to be about the people. They can also be another other elements.
In our case, we share a passion for wolves, one of nature's most hardy beasts.
While we may not speak with eachother very much, for me, the connection in our lupine side is good enough.

Gaias_Child - The little sprite. You were the first true RP'er that I met here. The connection with nature that we both share helped me decide what course I wanted my character to take.
While we did not speak a lot after that first week, I still consider you a dear friend.

Rayne_Clowd - The artist from heaven. Last, but certainly not least. Rayne... your ability to come up with the most amazing signatures and av's has kept me amazed for a long time.
I've used your creations with pride and honour and will keep doing so.​

Today's Topic:
Vanishers

Oh, how I could write an entire book about these people... Anyone who has been in Instant Messenger related conversations, RolePlay or not, has probably had this happen to him or her at some point.

People that suddenly dissapear. I mean this in two different ways.
1: Someone who you talk to once or twice, and then suddenly dissapear for several weeks or more. Without indication of why.
2: You are happily chatting away with someone, when they suddenly stop responding. They don't go AFK, they don't DC, they just stay online but don't respond.

The important part here, is that there's no given reason for these people to go offline. Nor do they give you one when they come back (if they come back at all). These people annoy me to great lengths, since it's in my eyes a slap in the face of the other person.
If I am indeed not good enough to RP with you, or if you find my offensive or otherwise. Say it to my face, and don't cower away.

Today's Troubling Topic:

Instant Messaging, the dissapointment

Come home from work, power's back on after the outage earlier today. Good, have some time for myself. Turn on the PC, let it boot up and log onto IM's...
Nobody... on all of them.. nobody online. Or if there are people online, they have fallen under the category that I described a few days ago. "The Vanishers".

While IM's are a wonderfully easy way to get in contact with someone, over the past few weeks I've noticed that my contacts fall more and more asleep. It then usually falls to me to strike something up with a person, if he/she responds at all.

There are only a few in my lists (which are pretty large as well) that I can depend on to show up when I'd like them to. And some.. they sadly don't show up enough..

Just had to get this off my chest as I'm waiting for dinner to cook, sitting and looking at empty messenger lists.

A routine lab examination in the hospital. Not much that can go wrong, don't you think?

Well... In my case, you couldn't be more wrong.

I just went through the most frustrating 7 hours in my life. And only because of some person screwed up something in the measurements.


Lately, I'd been feeling a very weak and quick to tire. So, after consulting my GP, I was advised to have some blood examinations.
Well, that I did ofcourse, wanting to find out what could be wrong with me.

First appointment was at 10:30. Everything seemed to go fine, the nurse was very helpful and friendly. I was informed that it would take about 2 hours for them to obtain the first results. The full results would take at least another 3 days.
Okay, no problem, I had expected something like that would be the case, so I made sure that I had a good book with me. *sighs dreamily* Jim Butcher.. how I love your writing...

Anyway.. Nearly 2 hours later, I go back to the ward, find the nurse that took my blood samples. Only to find out that something had contaminated the sample and it was now unusable.

Great...

I'm a bit pissed at that news, but okay.. fair enough.. mistakes happen, I still have some time before I have to get my kids from the daycare... we can do it again.
Same procedure, everything seems to go fine . Have to wait another 2 hours. I decide to go out and do some shopping that I'd have to do anyway.
When I come back, the nurse tells me that there'd been another occurance, because they came out with unrealisticly low values, ones that would barely be able to keep me alive.

By this time, I'm royally peeved off. Two mistakes in one day on the same person.. But I'd like to get the results anyway, so I decide to give it another go. Again.. procedure goes well, so it probably wasn't the fault there...
After I'm done, I get on the phone with the daycare and my husband, to see if they can keep my kids until he can pick them up.. because I damn right want to know if the samples are good now.
Queue another 2 hour wait.. Boy was I glad I packed a good book..

Go back to the ward a third time. Finally I'm told that there were no strange occurances to be seen yet.
At that time, it was 17:45..

Now the waiting starts for the full results to arrive at my GP's.. I hope to all that's holy that finally everything went according to plan. I do NOT want to spend another 2.5 hours there.

Now, for my rant topic for today.


Random PM's.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like getting PM's. I really do.. but not from people that I've never even seen here.

Lately it's been getting more and more annoying and strange, culminating in someone sending me a PM with a scene from what was, I think, supposed to be a plot for an incest RP, only there was no request or anything, just the single example.

And badly spelled as well, might I add. While I have been on the lookout for some SRP again, that is not what I had in mind, at all.
The best part is.. most of the accounts that send those PMs are profile-less and generally have less then 50 posts.


It makes me wonder.. who are those people? Why do they feel like they can bother me like that and how did they even get the idea that I would be even remotely interested in them?
It boggles me..

There's been an idea roaming through my head, and I just need to get it out here.

I don't expect much will get out of it, but still...


Some of you may be familiar with the anime series Wolf's Rain. It's a (sadly) short lived series about 5 youngsters who can transform effortlessly into wolves and back. The series takes place in a semi-futuristic, post-apocalyptic world where wolves are considered to be extinct and creatures of legend.
But some people claim that they are not extinct, just more evolved then humanity thinks. I.e. having taken the form of normal humans.

It's a story of how 5 completely different youngsters make their way through a destroyed country, remain unnoticed by the public and take cover from being hunted by bounty hunters.


Well.. I've been considering taking that scenario and running with it, twisting it into something more exciting and also erotical, while keeping the general theme of it alive.
I tried something along those lines together with Scarlet,which sadly due to RL reasons never got off the ground. Just don't know if there'd be anyone at all interested in something like that.
Seems people are more and more into the 'easy' stuff.

I chanced upon your thread this morning and it resonated with me for various reasons. For one, yesterday I discovered a majestic and beautiful place just off the beaten track by following a little used trail which opened up into a cathedral of ancient trees...hemlock, redcedar. It was quite unexpected, beautiful and serene.

Following the trail - because I was on business - I also chanced upon the ruins of a cedar shack cabin - long since collapsed, but still it was once someone's refuge in this ancient grove.

...interesting that today, I discover your thread - it could've been the very same place....
