Last night during cool down the topic of permenant markings came up. One of the many things that he wishes to do, to mark me as his when the time comes, is to split one of my nipples in two. Obviously, not cut it off or make it useless later on, but simply split it down the center to the base.

I'd love to get your thoughts on such an act and pick the minds of those Medics here who will have a better idea of the ramifications of such an act. Thanks, y'all.

How is it that you think splitting the nipple will not make it useless later on?

Just looking at the anatomy, it's my theory, although I cant find anyone online about it, that it would interfere if not make breastfeeding impossible from that breast. Your milk glands secrete/lactate milk and it's as the baby expresses the milk through ducts that empty in from the nipples. The procedure is irreversible and I would think that scar tissue would keep that nipple from being functional, not to mention the increased risk of mastitis and nerve damage from getting someone who didnt know what they were doing.

See, that is my thought too. I don't want to make it useless in the future, but I'm not sure how this can be done without doing permenant damage. I've seen mother's with mastitis and it isn't pretty. Thaks Fi, you have helped my case more than you know.

One great place to start looking for information is at www.bmezine.com they have great information on modification, the risks, the benefits etc. Im not sure about the nipple still working or not, I have both of my nipples pierced twice (in like a + shape) and im definitely still able to produce milk (after I stopped my birth control I started randomly lactating for a bit, weird and possibly TMI.) so I dont know if it would be like that . Anyway, good luck with it.

As you know, the idea of splitting scares the crap out of me, but I will never say no. I also know that you will never do anything without deep understanding and investigation, so I know I don't have to worry. Twiggy's sites are interesting, we should look at them later tonight.

For now, though, lets go get some Thai.

I'm not much into mutilating the body or any of it's parts. I think the body is a beautiful miraculous thing.

I get a little sick when I see boobs tied off and turning colors. I don't enjoy viewing "marks" on others because it mars the beautiful canvas a body can be.

Splitting a nipple would never occur to me. I wouldn't find it an exciting thought or look. I enjoy playing with nipples and getting a reaction. I imagine that fucking with them in this way could cut down on sensitivity and therefore, my fun.

Nipples are not beautiful to me. They look rather like the lunar surface when close up photographed.

They are simply fun triggers to reactions!

I also like my (meaning my own and the ones I play with) body parts to be functional. I may not be considering getting pregnant ever again but I would not prematurely make my nipples potentially dysfunctional. I have my lactation fantasies after all.

For a young woman. I would think this to be a prime concern. You seem interesting in having and nursing kids in the future.
