Nipple peircing....

Aloha everyone. I have posted before under a different name but I lost my info so I am starting over...
I am a 24 yr old mom of 3. I would really like to have my nipples pierced. I am about to wean my daughter. I thought now would be the time since my nipples are pretty tough from nursing. But I am wondering how much it HURTS. Has anyone here done this? And what about infection? Any feedback would be great!!! Aloha!

hmm. Thought about getting my nipples pierced as well, just haven't gone out and done it yet.

But I would assume that it hurts on the level of how sensative you are in that area. If you are really sensative, then yes, it will hurt. If your nipples are tough like you say from nursing then perhaps the level of sensativity will be low. Every woman is different. But don't be too hesitant. Normally the Piercer will do what he/she can to get it over with fast.

As for infections? I've had my tongue, nose and double piercings in my ears.
You won't get infections as long as you take the initiative to clean the area every day. Although I heal real well and fast, I went and cleaned the areas of the piercings 5 times a day. Either with rubbing alcohol (for the ears and nose) and Listerine mouthwash (for the tongue).

Peroxide (sp?) works well too. And I reccomend Ice wrapped in a towel for swelling afterwards.

hmm.. just had a thought. You could always numb your nipples by placing the ice wrapped in a towel on them about an hour before you go to get pierced. If your anything like I am, your nipples will remain erect when touched with anything cold. Might be something to think about.

Personally, I would be worried about the loss of sensation. I know it is rare, but I've heard that, especially with certain facial piercings and tongue piercings, it can cause permanent nerve damage.

My breasts and nipples are definitely one of my erogenous zones. Very, very sensitive. I, for one, would not want to jeopardize that.

My opinion only, of course.

Yeow! Lanna, you've had your tongue pierced? How badly did it hurt? I know what it feels like when you BITE your tongue, and that doesn't even go all the way through.

Is it true what they say? That it's more enjoyable for a man when you're giving him head? I'm just curious you don't have to answer that one if you don't want.

As far as the pain goes, it isn't bad. I had mine done a year ago & the guy was very gentle & professional. They use a gel like Anbesol to numb the area a little bit, so it helps a lot. Also, we did deep breathing the whole time & it helped me focus on controling the pain. Afterwards, it throbs a little most of the time, but hot washcloths help. They reccommend using contact lens saline solution to wash the area several times a day. There is a type in the spray can that is great because you can shoot it into the hole & really get it clean. No, it doesn't burn & it hurt worse when I got my ears pierced. After about 3 months, I changed mine out to barbells & found they healed a lot quicker & felt better, plus they weren't as conspicuous under my clothes. My dirty lil' secret

It hurt worse when I had my ears pierced for the second time, then it did when I had my tongue pierced.

Like I said before... it all boils down to how much pain you can be receptive to. How sensitive you are and what not.

As for better head? *G* I never knew my hubby to cum so much after my tongue had healed and I decided I wanted to give him head...
He's always been an Oral nut... and this turned him on more then anything i've ever done. Which was the main reason why I had it done.

Speaking of piercing...anyone ever see The Jim Rose Circus? I saw them when they opened for Nine Inch Nails a few years ago (and, no, Jim Rose Circus is not a musical group, more like a freak show). That had this dude doing shit with his piercings...like hanging bricks from his nipples and swinging them around. OUCH!!

Think about that one for awhile.
