Anti-vax Republican who refused to certify Detroit's election
died of COVID-19

Dec 1, 2021

After then-President Donald Trump personally called Hartmann and Palmer,
the two attempted to rescind their votes, to no avail. The audit later revealed
Trump lost Wayne County by more than 330,000 votes, anyway.

On Facebook, Hartmann was an avid Trump supporter and anti-vaxxer,
downplaying the severity of the pandemic and the effectiveness of vaccines.

"If the ouchie is so great, why do they have to offer bribes?"
he wrote in one post.

Hartmann's death comes as COVID-19 is surging in Michigan, which has led
the nation in cases since November, with hospitals stretched to capacity.
Michigan's surge is being largely driven by unvaccinated people, experts
say.

Of course, a tiny fine like that is not going to prevent another attempt to overturn
the vote that resulted in Joe Biden's victory. Every month a new MAGA steps up,
to announce that he will prove that someone corrupted the vote in the part of his
state, that has mainly minority communities.

Real Judges. The fines have been adding up, but they are just a drop in the bucket

Trump's cookie jar PAC has over a hundred million dollars in it.

The Republican National Committee is paying TFG#45's Trump Organization legal bills.

Investigators have sought information about instances in which Trump’s company
gave vastly different valuations of the same properties to lenders and tax authorities.
Vance recently convened a new grand jury to hear evidence and potentially consider
charges in the case.

Trump is a wealthy businessman with dozens of properties, and he has built
an independent political operation, which at last count had more than $100
million on hand.

It’s not the first time the RNC has covered Trump’s legal fees.
While he was president, it paid for lawyers to represent Trump
and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., during investigations of his
2016 campaign and his alleged connections to Russia.

Two lawyers who unsuccessfully sued to overturn the results of the 2020 U.S. election
must pay almost $187000

Judge orders two lawyers who filed suit challenging 2020 election
to pay hefty fees: ‘They need to take responsibility’

A federal judge has ordered two Colorado lawyers who filed a lawsuit
late last year challenging the 2020 election results to pay nearly $187,000
to defray the legal fees of groups they sued, arguing that the hefty penalty
was proper to deter others from using frivolous suits to undermine the
democratic system.

The Krummy Kraken smeared election officials reputations, and made false accusations
against election workers. They are suing the Krummy Kraken, too.

Two Election Workers Targeted by Pro-Trump Media Sue for Defamation

Dec. 2, 2021

The two Georgia workers were falsely accused of manipulating ballots
by Trump allies and right-wing news sites.

Election officials said the workers did nothing wrong.

The lawsuit from Ms. Freeman and Ms. Moss is among the first to be filed
by individual election workers who found themselves unwittingly dragged
into the alternate universe of far-right media that claimed, and still does,
that Donald J. Trump won last year’s presidential election.
