Late last night I watched on ESPN a replay of the 1981 Orange Bowl- FSU vrs. Oklahoma. Then I dreamed that Oklahoma beat Florida State 31-3 in this year's game. I woke up feeling ashamed. Thank god I dreamed the score was 31-3, because that will not be the score. FSU will make touchdowns. Truly though, I think the Noles will win. Maybe not a blowout, but they will win.
Does anyone here enjoy ESPN Classic? I got a kick out of watching that old game. My freshman year at FSU began in '81 and I got a kick out of hearing all the names of the players that were there when I was there. My last year in Tally was Deon Sander's first year. I'll never forget I was at the Phyrst eating oysters and drinking beer and I got to meet him. "Deon," I said, "I am so glad you came here and not Miami. Dude, you're prime time... prime time..."
"Prime time?," he responded, "I like that! I like that!"
The rest is history....
