Open thread Races can be any of the Free Peoples, or even of the Forces of Sauron
Timeline: With the fall of Numenor, the remaining Dúnedain were forced to take up abode on the shores of Middle Earth. After the kingdoms of Arthedain, Cardolan, and Rhudaur fell, her people were forced to fend for themselves. Under their chieftain, Arahad I, trouble began to stir. For many years before, however, the Dúnedain had lived under a certain peace, for Sauron had not troubled them for many hundreds of years. But now his orcs had started to fill the Misty Mountains, and the peace was broken.
Name: Linaya Laeranir
Age: 89
Race: Human - Dúnedain
Height: 6'0
Hair: Black
Eyes: Grey-Blue
Equipment: Longsword, Black Horned Shortbow, Forest Green Cloak, Fine Chain-mail, Soft Leather Gloves, Hunting Knife quiver and arrows
Appearance: Before you stands a tall and proud Dúnadan; raven black hair adorns her head and falls just above her shoulders. Her grey-blue eyes sparkle like stars and she has a politice smile on her fair face. Around her shoulders is a forest green cloak, underneath you find a breastplate of fine chain mail, a broad silver belt around her waist and a long hunting knife resting at her side. Fine chain mail leggings and a pair of black padded boots make up the rest of her raiment, and from the looks of her she's been out in the wild for a long while. Held in her hands she holds a longsword, and across her back is a black-horned shortbow.
Bio: Linaya is one of three children, and the oldest of the three. She had grown up in a relatively peaceful time, although there was a costant watch for signs of trouble. For the main part, trouble lay within the wilds of Middle Earth, from the annoying wolf packs, to the hidden dangers near Mordor. Growing up strong, she was taught how to defend herself, and she mastered both the sword and bow, as had many of the Dúnedain.
But Linaya is more of a dreamer than a fighter; and for many years she could be found wandering alone along the riverbanks, humming to herself as she imagined what life was like for the Dúnedain of Numenor. How she wished to have lived in that blissful time, before the Isle sank. But while she of calm mood, she has the fierce strength of her ancestors, and her anger, when stirred, will turn many aside.
